Load of stupid criticisms of Berbatov again. What did people expect from him given that Robinson was the playmaker of the team? Spurs looked really poor and the least guilty for their pathetic performance were the strikers. Still, there is a chance to go through but that game was really embarassing.

Exactly!

These are not the players Marty who will make you favourite team a top four. If you like your team to be in the middle of the table they`re just fine, and even more they are brilliant! And why should everybody just wants to see a blinking potential in a player and should wait long time to see him doing something good. Aren`t you pissed of waiting your team to be a great team. And this happens every season - the next season we will be in the top four , and after that the situation is the same. And this is because of guys like Marty who thinks that somebady have potential and we should wait and wait and wait to develop it. F**k off!!
I want this team to win and to show a beautifull football everytime I watch it! I don`t want to wait teh next seazon! I want it now!!!

Jenas is top 4 quality if he gets a good, solid DM partner. Hudd clearly has the potential but for now he is a good squad player. The other two would be decent squad players but not first teamers. I'm not saying O'Hara is or could be a top 4 first team player, but he can definitely become our, say, Darren Fletcher. (Useful squad player who always gives everything.)

The rest I will not respond to.

robbo made a cpl of good saves.

every else looked fairly average. our play in the final third was rubbish again

Taarabt made a good cameo I thought, he actually passed the ball a few times, incl a great ball to ohara for his volley. Probably the biggest positive for the game for me

Woodgate was my man of the match, our midfield was very poor today, no sparkle and Robbie and Berba were living off scraps even on scraps they could have nicked us something.

Fair play to Robbo he made a great save to keep us in it, but I'd swap keepers with PSV at the drop of a hat.

Gomes had pretty much nothing to do and somehow managed to make that look very difficult.

I rather enjoyed Gomes' Robbo-style flaps.

Marty, his inability to catch a cross with a bit of pace on it, means that he will punch the ball into dangerous areas. And that shot, stupid punch out and then he was still lobbed by a header; yes he was offside, but still?!?

Great save though from Farfan's shot, one of the saves of this season thus far.

You really are a tit! Crucify him for saving a shot on goal then for not saving an offside follow up.

In the last three games we've let in six goals and none have been his fault.

I'd agree with the Woodgate shouts for MOTM.

Thought we were disappointing, but PSV were very professional. They're clearly more experienced in these big games and they stuck to their gameplan, frustrated us and exploited a mistake. We just couldn't break them down, sometimes it happens. I've seen us play a lot worse

He never realised it was offside until after the ball lobbed over him; why else would he had tried to save it?

Who is the tit now...

You! It didn't count, he did his job stopping the initial shot, and if the following opponent had been onside it probably would have fallen to a defender.

Did you actually understand what I just posted? He never realised it was offside, until after he had been lobbed and was on his back side picking the ball out of the net; Dave Seamen style from Nayim.

Unfortunately for Robbo, the PSV player was 10 yards out not 50.

Do you actually understand the result 0-1. Who cares if he didn't realise. He saved a legitimate shot the follow up doesn't matter.

Malbranque seemed to disapear in the second half.

We were disjointed tonight - but the more worrying signal is the lack of form from Aaron Lennon. He is looking increasingly out of his depth in big games, it crept in last season and is still there.

Walcott and Wright Phillips are light years ahead of Lennon and we as a team are carrying him

Lennon looked excellent in first half hour .

If you remember Spurs tried to sign Walcott and Wright Phillips but they are out of our league/too good and want more money .

I had only heard of one of those PSV players , came away mightily impressed with their very own cross between Eto and Defoe . They wanted it more and were prepared to work harder to get it .
