Sanchez will get the votes, and does probably edge it with the goal.

But I went with noone.
Just didn't feel anyone stood out today in a good way. Solid performance from most, just no spark.

I think we got lucky there. We may have dominated the game but I don't think we created too much. I thought Watford defended superbly.

I think there needs to be a plan B against park the bus teams. I thought hojberg should have come off for GLC so that Reggie could still provide an outlet. I do think the Conte style reduces the impact Hojberg can have on the game. I would actually love to see Skipp with Winks/GLC and see what happens.

I love the defence right now, it's like they rediscovered how to play football. They all seem happy taking the ball into the final third.

Sanchez motm. He had one brain fart but other than that I thought he played well.

Has to be big Dave really.

None of the team were shit. None of the team were amazing. We ground out the result against a team who played a backline of between 6 and 8 with another 2 DMs stepping on their toes. Very good 3 points.

Sanchez was the best defender imo today and scored the winner so has to be motm.

A bit of a flat performance missing an orchestrator desperately.

Today's 11 were our best, but I don't think we did anything special and to win in the fashion we did was great as we wouldn't have got the three points under Nuno or JM.
We really need a striker to come on or challenge the present team as there wasn't much of a threat from the bench
None deserved MOTM for me

Only one to come out of that game with any credit was Lloris. I thought all of the outfield players were poor overall. I could not believe Conte did not make significant changes at half time, and left it way too long to make the changes he did. The ref was also poor, and the co-commentator on the stream I watched was really horrendous. I really wish I’d not wasted 2 hours of my life watching such a rubbish game of football.

On the plus side, Conte is unbeaten since he took over, and I think we have the best defensive record in that time too. Hopefully this performance will make Levy realise we need significant investment in better players. Conte cannot polish this turd and is nearly out of glitter.

Sanchez MOTM pretty easily considering the winner and just being generally very solid.

Emerson and Reguilon both had stinkers, it was highlighted because of how much space they had to make an impact with, Emerson in particular.

Son also was very poor, great delivery on the goal though.

Everyone else was pretty mediocre / bleh. I did think Kane worked hard and did well to create space for himself a couple of times.

Thought Conte should have brought on a creative player or made an attacking chance much much earlier than he did too, he got lucky.

Decent performance, dominated without looking great. With a bit more quality it's an easy win, at the same time without the last minute goal the mood is very different.

We weren't great, but we deserved to win that.

We are too wasteful, we can't rest our best attacking players, and Son doesn't seem quite right after getting covid.

But Watford, like Southampton, made it very difficult for us. 4 points from 2 tricky away games isn't bad.

Defence was mostly good, and they look like a comfortable unit. Sanchez MOTM. Good game and a big goal.

Lioris doesn’t make those brilliant saves and Sanchez goal only creates a draw at best. We need to sign that guy ASAP.

Might give it to Royale just to piss off the match day thread seethers…

nah - big Dav with a nod to Hugo for getting it done when called upon.
Adding goals from corners and set pieces would be a very nice touch

What brilliant saves? I don't remember Watford creating a single chance all game.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm watching a different game to you guys.

‘The one he made with his left hand on a sure goal and the run he made to the edge of the box to stop a clear break. Both 2nd half

Davinson motm, so happy for him. Hugo top. I feel Son was better than most think, he just didn’t have the cutting edge. His touch today was levels above what it was at Southampton, and he delivered the decisive moment of quality when needed most. Lucas too, it’s not talked about the passes he sees and he’s executing them more often this season.
