With apologies for the slightly off topic post.....

Wolves are actually very far from being a small club. Time was, in fact, that they were the biggest club in the country - albeit back in the 1950’s.

Sure, they’ve plumbed the depths and have been woefully mismanaged over the years - from boardroom down. But they’ve always had big support and great potential. Now that they’re finally getting their act together, the fans have every reason to feel optimistic. They’re still some distance below us in the food chain. But they are climbing.

Yeah, I know. I'm just mad at them because one of their fans was mean about us on a message board.

When you realise Chelsea spent 50m on Chilwell, we (presumably) spend 15m on Doherty yet Doherty is the better player

Completely OT, but it also makes Tierney to Arsenal at £25 mill look fantastic value. Yes, he's not perfect (what FB is?), but we should have been all over that at that price.

I'm very surprised by this. Not in a bad way, just genuinely surprised that we're buying an established starter from another top 10 PL club that isn't in financial trouble.

Doherty's been a very good wing back for two PL seasons so I'm definitely on board with the signing.

Did an ITK say we wanted a left back or have I made that up?

It's fucking weird if we're not. Sessegnon has demonstrated he is nowhere near ready to play there. I can't see Rose playing for us again. Jose likes Cirkin but hasn't deemed him ready for for 1 minute of first team football yet. We really don't want Tanganga, a right footed centre back, playing there.... so what happens if Ben Davies gets injured?

Sorry if it's been mentioned already but why exactly are Wolves selling their starting RB to a Premier League rival?

no one really knows, maybe wants a new challenge after 10 years at Wolves and the club are letting him, perhaps because he’s. a Mendes client and Wolves owe him a favour, or just cause they’re stupid
