Notice that Justin Kluivert is one of his clients. The following isn’t a surprise then...

i can remember that hercules mentioned kluivert that we had verbal agreement to sign him in summer (please correct me and sorry if i am wrong)

Got to wonder how enticing for De Ligt it would be rejoining Sanchez also, must help knowing a past teammate is already at the club, so you can settle into an old partnership.
Would definitely like us to be looking at both De Ligt & De Jong, as Alderweireld & Dembele replacements if they actually are both leaving.

As an 18-year-old who has been at Ajax since the age of 8, it’s very possible Vertonghen and Eriksen are childhood heroes of his. Fingers crossed that could play a small part too.

Some ITK that De Ligt wants to join up with Sanchez and Vertonghen. Can't blame him if true. It feels like the perfect scenario for De Ligt to join Spurs to hook up with an ex-team mate and likely a player in JV who he'll know about from the Ajax connection and who could be the perfect mentor for him.

I’m sure there has been itk on de jong in the last 12 months. Can’t think from who though.

There is just too much interest in this lad now. If there are other richer clubs show serious interest, I cannot see him coming to us.
We also have to be careful. He is only 18. Even if he comes, it is going to be very hard for him to get used to PL.

ITK has stated he wants to come play with Jan and Sanchez, I'm not so sure whats hard to believe about that. Who would have thought we could lure Sanchez?

He prefers us. Suppose it’s about Citeh’s muscles and his agents now
Anytime someone with the money of City is involved I'll assume we will lose out. Well greased agent palms whispering sweet nothing's can change any player's mind with enough time. Hope it doesn't drag on and we miss out on backup targets... hope, but also expect.

City already have 4 established CB's. Who's leaving? I do understand Kompany doesn't have much time left but they also have Stones & Laporte for the future.

His name sounds like one of those stoic 70’s footballers that your pops claims is an absolute nailed on top 3 all time great that he had as a shiny in a Merlin sticker book that some twat nicked during swapsies in school. And for that reason alone...count me in.

Don't think he rates stones as much anymore

If city are truly in for him then probably won't happen, they'll promise starts and all the oil gold

If you put his name into google translate, it comes up as "the lies."

I feel bad for Ajax, they must really hate us. A once great club now just a selling club. Good for us but shame for them, perfect club for us to buy from and mound ourselves on players from, good technique and attitudes.

From the original tweet, I don't think Mino is actually his agent, rather a neutral third party, which would make it more likely (correct if I'm wrong please)
Nope. Raiola having anything to do with this is likely us out. I doubt we want to have anything to do with him or Mendes.

Interesting point because I think that the best defenders are the ones that have to do a lot of defending. Guardiola's Barcelona, Bayern and Man City are all teams who have dominated their opponents consistently and defenders generally get a pretty easy ride. As an example, I doubt if Puyol or Ramos would have done as well in mid table teams, particularly in England. Where those players were outstanding was having the concentration to make the right decisions on the rare occasions they were called into action. I don't see those type of clubs as the environment for a player as young as DeLigt to gain the experience to make him the best.
Im not sure about that, Guardiola tends to push his centre backs very high up with emphasis on getting the ball back quickly. He also wants defenders to be technically very able. But he leaves his CB very exposed to one on one situations.

I think Guardiola likes his Centre backs to be not just defenders, but I don't think its as easy ride as you make out, you have no shield in his teams.

Fair comment, but it's born out of the confidence in the ability of the players in front to keep possession and score goals.
