Not been the best start for Poch but we know it takes time for players to adapt to his methods. The key is the Champions League which PSG have so wanted. Beating Barca was a good result but he will be expected to win the cup

As long as PSG continue to look good in the Champions League he'll be fine. PSG's owners are a lot like City's in that they care more about the CL than domestic achievements.

I don't think its as simply as that, PSG winning Ligue 1 should be an absolute piece of piss compared to City winning the PL.

Something every strange about his departure given that a close friend of his has basically said they will be back at Spurs at some point.

Ligue 1 should be an absolute piece of piss compared to the PL but as I said before the owners don't prioritise domestic achievements over the CL. Man City and PSG are essentially state sportswashing projects that seek to use the history and prestige of the Champions League to soften their images.

Lots of off pitch stuff getting in the way of this game specifically, Di Maria being subbed off because his home was being robbed might well have created a lot of uncertainty if word got round the pitch. Marquinhos' parents were also robbed around the same time.

But of course the first leg CL win over Barca aside he hasn't had a good start.

Fucking hell, wasn't he robbed at Manchester as well FFS

Di Maria was yeah, it was quite early on after he'd had a good start and he quite clearly decided to down tools and want out straight after because his family never felt safe in Manchester again.

Let's hope for his and his family's sake that this robbery wasn't as brutal as it sounds.

Jesus Perez speaking recently:

“Mauricio and Daniel still text each other and they have a very good relationship. We don’t have any bad feelings with Daniel. The other way around. It was a professional decision.
“At some point, we had to split but we will be back at Spurs for sure.”

Some light at the end of a dark long boring ass tunnel

Poch getting criticized already.

"L'Equipe believe new manager Pochettino is trying and failing to copy his hero Marcelo Bielsa."

He has come out and said its going to be difficult to win the league this season, which I don't think the owners want to hear.

3 points behind with 7 games to go. He surely has to win the title at the minimum.

He’ll be back here in the summer lol
nah, way too soon. I think a lot of scars are still fresh.

We'd basically need almost an entirely different playing staff.

The bad news is he may not be allowed to take Alli from us.
