I think thats too short for a keeper. Look how short Hillario looks and his 6ft 2

Amelia is 6ft 1 and yet he's your dream keeper.. rediculous post, absolutely rediculous! Anything over 5ft 10 is big enough for a keeper.

Think im gonna be shaking my head over stupid posts like this all summer. Rediculous!

Amelia is only his dream keeper for now. I fully expect that to change at least 10 times during the transfer window. It wouldn't be a transfer window without the compulsory Bubble sig change every day.

Kirkland is vastly overrated, not because of a lack of ability just because he barely seems to make it through three or four games at a time. I didn't even realise he was 26 already!

McGregor has certainly looked very good in Europe this season and all the talk from Scotland seems to be that he is no mug. I certainly wouldn't be unhappy with him.

Rangers have reportedly had cash problems which led them to almost push Hutton out of the door. The Hutton money might have fixed that but maybe they still need a cash injection form us rich kids?

I don't think that's the case, I sit opposite a Rangers fan and he's been saying that they're money problems are now over and they'll be loosening the purse strings.

Dont know for certain like..

If that happens we should definitely be in for Joe Hart who seems to be the best young english keeper around at the moment. His save percentage is in the top 5 keepers this season, according to the Observer, while Robbo is bottom out of all keepers in the prem!

If this is true then it would seem unlikely Sven would go for Robbo. Svens a bit of a twat but he's not that stupid.

I would be very surprised if Alan has agreed a deal to go anywhere else at this stage in the season.

Given the form he is in the and the fact Rangers are still in the hunt for three trophies.

There has been very little in the Scottish press about Mcgregor moving to Spurs.

However I reckon we would probably let him go for £7/8m but would be surprised if any
deals have been done just now.

talking about Goalkeepers - after watching yesterdays game what about Chris Kirkland? Very injury prone but sometimes joining a new club can stop those niggling injureries. He is a good age for a keeper (26), english (communication and premiership experience) 6ft 6, plays for a lesser team then ourselves making him a realistic target.

I think if he impresses against us on Saturday under the watchful eye of Juande he could be a tearget - 6-7m should prize him away. He would absolutly jump at the chance of a move to us and really boost his england chances. He knows like anyone else thet the England no1 position is still up for grabs

I thought the same last night about Kirkland but his injury record would be a big concern, Made some very nice saves specially from Anelka header in first half. Id quite like us to sign Le mans goalkeeper Pele what ive seen off him been impressed and have either Jaaskelainen who is available on free in summer or Niemi who wouldnt be that expensive as number 2!

I always found it strange that Rangers signed Neil Alexander (good goalkeeper, far too good to be 2nd choice for too long) so maybe this is why and he was their contingency plan?

Given is shorter than that, and has been one of (if not the) best keepers in the league for years

Bartez (spelling) was also a petit-arse and he was a top keeper (even if looked like Donald Pleasance and went a bit crazy from time to time)

The only top goalie that I've not seen make a mistake was Gordon Banks. Even our great Pat Jennings got the ball knocked out of his hands by Georgie Best as he was trying to toss it up for a big punt; and of course Georgie boy would never let such an error go unpunished.

Shilton was a bit like James and made a few televised goofs in his time.
