It's ok, Arshavin will slot into the hole to create chances for Bent.

Well as I said there were reports of him iced up and missing training in Spain

he's had a very long season with the Euros - so maybe he just needs a bit of rest-

just hope he's ready for the Roma game as one of the reasons I'm going to that is to see him

I'm going to the Roma game too, and even though he's one of the (many) reasons I'm going...I'd rather he miss it and be fit for the Boro game...or whenever he's fully fit.

hopefully its just a precaution. He wasn't going to play tomorrow anyway. If he doesn't play some part against Roma then we can get slightly worried

Nothing on official site, so it can't be anything too serious - I hope

to be far we have been pretty fortunate injury wise this pre season. Only Hutton seems to be definitely injured

Say it ain't so!

Sure he'll be fine. No doubt extreme precautions at work

Oh m8, please dont let this be a serious injury. We all know this guy will be key to how we play, we really dont need him out for the first handful of games, i think we need to hit the ground running , unlike last season

agree with that AB - I was just thinking that by missing tomorrow he'll be fit for Roma - but of course his fitness for the league is far more important than whether he plays v roma

Hi Defsta - I wouldn't count on the OS being too forthcoming about injuries - the King situation for many years now - Hutton at present - I could give other instances - where as fans we often have to guess what's going on -

Indeed we've got a new one now - GDS - we don't know if he's injured or not - the OS hasn't told us - maybe it's not their job - maybe it is - The club often don't like to say too much - probably that's a good policy overall - can be frustrating for fans tho
