You learn from your mistakes and I certainly have.

There are certainly some smart arses who can comprehend stuff like this happens and are set on ridiculing anything that doesnt match up with their opinion on how the situation would play out in their heads.

Its just not a scenario of "hello Luka how are you?" With him replying with "I want to play for Man U" Other things are said over time, thats how conversations happen. If someone was to put every word said, word for word it becomes like a Police interrogation.
Players are not that bright and would let things slip dependant on the situation and the person they are talking to.
You would be quite surprised how forth coming players are with fans.
When I met Ibrahimovic he was quite quick to slag off Mancini after we talked about Inter and him being dropped to the bench. As long as its not press I dont think players care.

The trouble is, we've had so much info along these lines that is total bullshit ('I work in a Hatton Garden jewellers' and Daniel Levy came in and told me…' is a favourite of mine) that the kosher stuff gets lumped in with it.

This sounds entirely plausible to me, and why are people amazed that Luka would want to go to United one day?

One day. Not this summer.

I haven't read the rest of this thread beyond page 2, but I can't believe this thread has reached 11 pages. Flabbergasted!

I actualy think that Modric will try to leave at the end of the season. imagine the hypocrisy of Redknap being allowed to leave to further his ambitions and Modric having to settle fo 3rd/4th place in the league and not winning titles. i know that as a club this is our ambition and we are not far off from mounting a genuine title challenge but in the absence of signing real quality players to further strengthen the team how do we convince our best players to stay. my gut feel is that Bale will leave at the end of the 2013 season. i do not see him staying beyond next season. i can understand us not investing money now with Harry linked with the england job. who we get as manager and who we bring in will go a long way to determining where the likes of Bale,Modric, Van Der Vaart in the short and where Walker and Kaboul in the future play their football.

80% of this thread has been people attacking Matrix and him defending himself, sometimes you wonder whats the point of posting?

Matrix hasn't said anything damaging at all here, except stating the bleeding obvious that any player with any ambition would want to move on if their club isn't in the CL or sells their star players.

We are still in the FA Cup.

I'm not saying Luka can't win anythnig at Spurs, but I'd say at this moment in time he would think it more likely to win things at United than at Spurs. Plus I'm pretty sure he sees them as a 'bigger' club.

if he does want to go and tries to, i think parkers so called loyalty to spurs should come to test, parker should be instructed to take modders legs out bam (of cousre after he signed elsewhere)

its a disgrace that he still wants to leave us.

He's not going anywhere, you can take that to the bank.

Also, LOL @ the person who said that somebody was a dick for mentioning cancer on a public forum. You'd probably end up weeping, curled up into the fetal position in some corners of the web.
