WIth Clasie seemingly close to leaving Feyenoord for them, they will likely get pressure from both Morgan and Feyenoord to get a deal done (assuming Clasie is dependent upon MS sale). It seems like this should get resolved fairly soon.
We should be seriously looking at Clasie

Not that I want him to ply his trade there but i'll glad for the saga to end as I can't believe so many on here believed we could get this deal through despite the mitigating circumstances against us.
I don't think anyone genuinely believed we would sign him

Casillas has just left Real, doesn't fill me with confidence Lloris will be here after the window shuts
They don't want Lloris, they want the Spanish golden boy, and we would demand at least as much as United will for De Gea with his contract running down. Utd or PSG could still poach him but I just don't see it this window, he seems content and we would demand ridiculous money.

i really can't understand why United are signing Morgan when they already have Carrick, Herrera, Schweinstieger, blind and felliani who can play those positions. especially when they have smalling, Evans and jones at the back. bizarre

If true then great early signings for them. Let's hope they lose their keeper

Maybe because they are so shit at the back they might line up with all of them in midfield. 3-6-1 ...

United can sign as many defensive midfielders as they like. There's only so much covering up of Jones, Smalling, Rojo, McNair and Blackett that you can do

MS is different to all of those though. He had the 2nd most tackles made in the league last season. Carrick, Herrera and Schweinsteiger are all more ball players, Blind doesn't seem like a combative defensive midfielder and Fellani likes to play further forward.

I think the only thing that can have United falter this season is Van Gaal himself. He turned it around well last season in the end but there are still question marks over him IMO.

Honestly cant understand MS going to Man u. As mentiones above they have a several top players competing for two places in midfield. Lets hope it will cause unsettlement in the squad. Feel Van Gaal is acting a bit like me when playing football manger when it comes to transfers.

Time to move on from the MS saga of the last couple of years. Was never going to happen. Now let's concentrate on players we can get and the development of our youngsters. Onwards and upwards COYS
