Guess we might find out if we really are willing to pay that asking price after all at this rate. Should get interesting if schweinsteiger deal goes through...

Serve MS right!
It is on good authority, fees aside we thought we had him. But who really knows what is going on in some people's head. We have a deadline. Anything and everything happens in football so you never know which my own opinion.

Time to try and get MS. Put up £15 million plus Townsend, that's a £30 million package.

Be surprise if Man United or Arse would bother to put up such a deal and Saints would find it hard to turn down such an offer for a player in his final contract year.

Classic example of a lazy footballer. Not in the physical sense, but in the sense if he actually joined us and helped us out, we could be in the champions league. He wants it on a plate though. Tosser.

This transfer is currently like England at a World Cup when we have our one good game at the last 16 round. We actually start to believe we can do it.....despite it being completely unlikely....we just might.

Whilst I don't think we'll get him - hypothetically, whereby no other big Clubs come in for him, and we met their asking price and they were prepared to accept - there's not a shot hell he'd turn us down IMO.

Lyall really is a fuckwit.

Townsend does have a say though, you act like we can just make him go to the saints.

Saints Web's top ITK said he'd deffo join us if we were the top option on the table, but that the fee (Southampton's asking price) was an issue for us.

Erm...isn't the fee quite a big 'aside'?

@gregstobart If United get Schweinsteiger (which looks on) they will still sign Schneiderlin. Full midfield overhaul - and pretty formidable #MUFC

That's the end of that then. Stobart has good connections. What force they will be.

Yeah always thought they would go for both. LVG will probably switch to a full 433 next year, so they'll want plenty of options at CM.
