He’s only assisting Page so will have no more control than he did with Giggs. However, Jose is showing his canniness again in trying to exert pressure to protect Bale as he did with Southgate over Kane.

exactly, he puts pressure on tehm not to play Kane to much to look after bale, let's be honest spurs have been really careful with Bale if he goes and is overplayed in the international break that would be very disrespectful.
