Tottenham could have two players with the same name if the club pursue initial interest in Fulham forward Moussa Dembele.

This could be a very astute signing if true. He first of all, has prem experience, he's only 19, so a lot of time for him to develop and he would be available at a cheap fee. This is the kind of scouting and signing of players that I want us to be doing.

Really liking the sound of this, would be a smart signing and even more so considering his contract is up in the summer! I'd imagine we would try to do a deal in January to ensure that we avoid competition from other interested teams.

That was too many Dembeles. Lets use their first names instead. Oh wait.......

On a scale of 1 - 10. how good is this lad? Is he pulling up trees at Fulham? Never heard of him before...well version2.0....

I honestly don't know enough about him to say either way but everything I hear is positive and he's really impressing everyone.

Sadly I've never seen him play so might check out a youtube compilation just to see what his finishing has been like.

He's a decent striker, not going to replace Kane and in my opinion not as good as Berahino either. That said, if he's almost free and can give Kane a bit of a break up front as well as provide another option from the bench he could be well worth it. Berahino is a much better player but would cost a lot more and our relationship with West Brom isn't the best.

"I had a chat with Dembele and he thinks Dembele is a very talented young player"

Does this mean David Pleat's commentary will start to make sense now?

A perfect blend of Steve Hodge and Andy Sinton...

If this happens, a couple of the other players should change their names to Moussa Dembele by deed poll, for a laugh.

'All I want is a team of Mousa Dembeles!'

And the man of the match award goes to Mousa Dembele, he was everywhere today.
