Sacked or resigned? Either way he'll get a bumper pay out for abject failure, it's not like the same rules that apply to any of us apply in football or politics.

Was hoping the will want to prove his abilities in the championship and fight for promotion next season.

Think he needs to prove himself... Think he does have a decent side to work with.

Oh well...

I did get the impression that he was stiched up by the owners with regards to how much money was available, but it's pretty poor to ditch them now unless they've backed out of other promises as well.

left everton and done an awful job at 3 clubs
took a side that was champions and took them to 7th
got sacked in spain
took a side that had been in the prem for years and they finished bottom by a million miles playing crap football
maybe no manager could have kept them up but no manager could have done a worse job than him
crap manager who has a very inflated view of his own worth

He deserves a medal for what he did to Man Utd, the temporary silverware vacuum he created at that bandwagon franchise should not be underestimated or unappreciated by most of us who have had to endure years and decades of this species that spreads faster than Japanese knotweed and sucks the lifeblood out of local support when Man Utd get anywhere near silverware. It stemmed the relentless growth of these lazy bandwagon jumpers albeit for a short period, but it was good while it lasted.

If he could repeat similar achievements at Man Utd and Sunderland I wish he could join Arsenal on a 10 year contract which could not be revoked or terminated for poor performance if Whinging Wenger departs.

He probably found out how much money was available this summer.

Biggest reason for his failure at Sunderland was he never wanted to be there in the first place. He rejected them in the past when he was doing a good job at Everton. Sunderland was beneath him then and no doubt he's felt it was beneath him for the last year.

This is a man who just over four years ago was given the keys to the most successful club in English football. Imagine getting your dream job and losing it in less than a year. Fifteen years of working your way up becomes obsolete in ten months. But then he goes and does a poor job in Spain. Two sackings on his CV.

I don't feel any sympathy for Moyes because he's made his millions being rewarded for doing poor jobs. He's also strung the Sunderland supporters up with his victim complex. The manager essentially downed tools months ago so of course the players will. There is no purpose to Moyes's managerial career anymore. He's yesterday's man and should give it up.

He wanted a lot of money to spend to stay. The owners looked at him and thought well we gave you a lot of money to spend at the beginning of the season and then you still aimed for relegation, why would we give you anymore.

Sunderland weren't one of the bookies favourites to be relegation but Moyes came in and said it'll be a miracle if wje don't get relegated and didn't try for anything higher.

He was the worst person for the job and the worst person for any job at the moment except for Arsenal. He needs arsenal for redemption. arsenal need him because fuck arsenal.
