One of our DMs, maybe Sandro. Not good enough for our squad anyway so no great loss I suppose. :D

Really don't think they will be attracted to any of our players except maybe Eriksen but that position won't be their priority.

20m from the Europa?! Surely that's if they won the tournament.
No, basically they have their international sponsorship deals and no Europa means they don't get european bonuses from international tv companies as well as sponsorship companies

Sandro and Vertonghen would be perfect for Utd right now

I think they'll be aiming higher than that personally.

Sandro has struggled since his injury, doesn't look physically the same and Utd will need defenders who can defend and not just look good on the ball, that would exclude Vertonghen who's defensive play leaves a lot to be desired.

Indeed. I hasten to add, I don't think that would happen. DL is many things but he isn't an outright halfwit. The revolt would be instant and he's got enough on his plate as is.

Yeah I'm sure it wouldn't happen, but that Frazier Campbell deal cut me deep.

As Ramos said..."we were left with Darren Bent and Frazier Campbell. We were left with no strikers".

To be fair with a midfield of Cleverly, Kagawa, Carrick(way past his best) half a Ryan Giggs and Fellaini what was the likelyhood they were going to do much better than they have.
Add to that two knackered CB's with no real cover, a left back already house hunting abroad and no right back just players filling in I really don't see why there was such expectation.
Last season they were not all conquering they were scraping desperate wins in games they used to expect to stroll, that was the Ferguson factor and that was gone whoever came in.
By the way players will go to Manchester United with or without CL football, it is the biggest club in the world and is therefore judged differently.

I wonder if they'll look at Mancini. He's used to spending large amounts on transfers and he knows the league well after winning it with City. I guess the City link would go against him though.

They probably make a couple of million in gate receipts per game, too.

I think Giggs for last 3 games, then van Gaal to take over after World Cup as Klopp has ruled himself out

There were rumours a while back that if they didn't qualify for Europe they would arrange high profile friendlies during the season to make the money back. I wonder how that would go down with a new manager?

Ryan Giggs is the first person in history to have both played and managed Man Utd and slept with his brother’s wife.

Get your money on Van Gaal. 2/3 weeks ago those rumours he'd met with the Glazers. Now Giggs in until end of the season which ironically is the same time at which Van Gaal will be available. Forgot Klopp, Mourinho, Simeone it is Van Gaal. And to be fair, if he has the choice of Spurs or Utd... it's a no brainer

Love how Jamie Redknapp is basically saying it was right to sack Moyes but seemed to think it was wrong to sack AVB.

Also, he is saying that they should spend £100m in the summer but said we were stupid to spend that money.

What a ****.

Of course you're missing the point. Anything with these two words together:- Jamie and Redknapp should be seen for what it is- SH1T

Very presumptive.

There's actually quite a few people they could turn to.

It's just nice to have had a full season of Man U fans facing the reality that things aren't so rosy outside the top 4 after all. Most of whom made for some comedy intertubes. Ah well, nice while it lasted.

Redcafe has been a hive of anxiety and turmoil this season, like never before.

I've really, really enjoyed it.:)

I wouldn't say good bye to it just yet

Whoever they get in as manager has a massive rebuilding job to do and the Glaziers have shown just how itchy there trigger fingers are when things aren't going well.

This could be just the start of the Utd empire crumbling.

Plus they may have a whole season of not being in Europe to experience as well. That's going to get to them.
