I have a feeling that some of the dressing room has been lost, I implore Mr Levy to back the manager 100%. We must seperate the wheat from the chaff. When you look at the sucessful clubs in this country they all have this in common.

Man Utd = Alex Ferguson given full control and power

Arsenal= Arsene Wenger

Chelsea= Mourinho Sucessful term

Chelsea= Grant Undermined

it is quite clear that the manager must have the final say over players, The players then know they can't mess about.

Back Harry Redknapp?!! Bloody hell what has the world come to? 15 months ago, we were scouring Europe for the best coaching talent, now we have to settle for that second rate dinosaur. I can't see how any true Spurs fan would see Redknapp as anything more than a caretaker manager who's only purpose is to prevent relegation.

And what a splendid job we made of it. Which is why we ended up with Twitchy.

Yeah but at least we tried, OK it didn't work out but we aimed high. Where has our ambition gone? Is "twitchy" going to take us into the Champion's League? Is he the best available? I don't F*****g think so.

Given the shit the incompetence of our 'wonder manager' got us into, we needed someone to dig us out of it. Yes, he's a stop-gap. Probably the best we could have got, given the circumstances. So stop fucking whingeing.

Please don't give me this 'but at least we aimed high' crap. I don't know whether to laugh or vomit.

Well he's actually identified what is wrong with our team which is more than the last lot have done.
Redknapp got Portsmouth from the Championship to playing in Europe. He had a strong team there without the cash to really push on. You tell me why he can't get us there.

Frankly, I think it's a joke that you are all calling for a new manager already. These players have done fuck all for 2 years now. He isn't going to magically make it all better.

It's laughable when people complain about him truthfully coming out and saying some of our players are little girls. If he was coming out saying we were unlucky every game like the last few managers you'd still be slagging him off.

The reason Spurs are hated is the fans. When we're winning we're gonna be top 4 and beat everyone. As soon as we lose we look to blame something, mostly because the majority don't understand football and can't properly understand what is required to fix this 'team'.

You all need to get a fucking grip.

How long does a "stop-gap" manager have....? Till the summer and we just about stay up as that is his limit of ambition this season then we go out and offer a kings ransom to Mourniho/Moyes/O'Neil/etc, till he's offered the England job or is it when we have our annual bad start to the season?

Right on. We had a clear plan. Then we kicked it out of the window for the latest overhyped flavour-of-the-month. Twitchy wouldn't have been many people's first choice as manager, mine included, but we were going to hell in a handcart and I can't think of too many people better qualified to put the brakes on.

He just needs not to take us into the Championship. The CL ship sailed away a long time ago. It's not coming back any time soon.

That would do it, I think.

I think sanctioning two players combined at around £27 mill combined is backing the manager.

People so quickly forget the £10mill on Gomes, the £15mill on Bentley, the £16.5mill on Modric, the £13.8mill on Pavvy, £8mill on Corluka.

The board HEAVILY backed Juande and Comolli in the summer, its too much to expect a similar outlay now. At the end of the day THFC is a PLC and Levy has to answer to his board and shareholders and how can he justify a massive spree in the summer and another one now?

People are so quick to blame Levy, the onus should be on Harry to extract the best from what he has for now...if he can do that then he warrants a summer backing.

But yes as SS57 said, Harry was nobodys 1st choice and I think backing him until he has done a job, is a bad bad move

Gomes was no more than 8m. Let's not forget the 50m received for Berba and Keane, about 13m for the Sunderland trio, 2.5m for Gardner, 3.5m for Robbo, and at least 6m for Kaboul. The club had a clear net profit on summer dealings.

Levy is the problem. A manager every 2 years. Can't you see that? It seems pretty obvious. Moyes at Everton and MON at Villa. D'y see? Chairmen that back the manager.

I think Levy got Ramos in with the best possible intentions—and, let's face it, an awful lot of people on here were thinking along the same lines. According to them, Jol was 'tactically naive' and 'couldn't take us to the next level' (like it's some computer game or other). Unfortunately, it all went tits-up when it turned out that Ramos wasn't the best thing since sliced bread.
