is he signed as a winger or a striker? coz when dempsey came in AVB treated him as a striker since we were unable to buy one..

He's a left winger or an attacking midfielder.

if rumors are true and bernard does come, what will happen to Chadli? turn out like sig, warm the bench until a first team regular gets injured? what my gut is telling me is we signed Chadli because we missed out on bernard, decided not to pay the fee ..

One thing about Chadli is that he is versatile. He can play as an inverted winger, as a second striker and through the middle (in his opinion).

I watched him play a few friendlies for Morocco a few years ago and he definitely likes taking control of the ball so I think he is more likely going in ahead of Lennon in the line up

Cricket fans wondering what happened to Simon Jones' neck will be relieved to see it finally turn up on Nacer Chadli's shoulders.

I havent seen the guy AT ALL except on those youtube clips - he reminds me of Taraaaaaaabt. Maybe a bit more end product then again youtube does have a habit of making anyone look like they have end product.

He's got an incredibly accurate shot. In all the matches I watched he showed fantastic ability to put his shots on target. Which is a great attribute considering anything can happen and if we get a guy like Soldado, he will take full advantage of any spilled shots by keepers.

Well im always excited by seeing an unknown talent - element of surprise and well... low expectations.

Is he quick? Does he have pace?

He's got decent pace but not like Bale or anything. As far as pace, he's probably on the level of Ben Arfa I guess. But, he's fantastic at shielding the ball and he's really strong. I compared him to Dembele on the wing. Of the matches I watched, he was never knocked off the ball and as a result his man often has to go to ground in the tackle to try and win the ball back. He can dribble out of trouble, he does keep his head up and can find his teammates but knows when to be selfish.

I really think he's a great player and I'm incredibly excited about the prospects of him and Bale on the wings.

Its been a long time since we had someone that can dribble.

I think this transfer has gone under the radar of most massively. Amount of ignorant Spurs 'fans' I saw tweeting shit like 'who's that ffs' etc. when we announced him was embarrassing. I think he will be a surprise for most and will prove a big threat off the left.
