So Napoli will buy him for £5m-£10m, yet pay him £80,000 per week?
It would more likely be a £5m loan fee but we pay half his salary.

I think its time for him to go. But I also hope he excels wherever he goes as unlike most on this forum (based on the countless snide remarks I have read), I appreciated his willingness to work his socks off for our cause despite his obvious limited ability, something I am sure he was aware of.

Sissoko's willingness to work his socks off in the two seasons he was genuinely a good squad option for us makes the complete perceived lack of effort from him in the last year or so even more baffling. When the main attributes he has are his attitude and application, to put in complete no-shows like he has done more or less ever since the Man City game in October just makes him completely useless. If he felt unfairly overlooked by Mourinho then the only way back in would've been to work even harder, and he didn't do that.

It's definitely time for him to leave.

I am uneasy that supposedly paratici is driving this move when he has not met the squad, the captain, sissoko or stepped in the country. Nor has his preferred manager. Not very scientific.
Some might say it is a no-brainer to get rid, but sissoko is in the french squad, so it clearly is not so clear cut.

Unless a player has said they want away like Aurier (not so fast kane), or their contract is near run out (not so fast lloris), then the new management team surely need to properly assess what they have first, before selling players.

The only way this makes some sense is if we are still working to mourinho's dossiers and summer recommendations. And I'd be happy with that as I think he could have turned it around if he was properly backed,
But clearly mourinho would be adjusting the squad to suit a counter attacking style, while the new guys favour possession. We think.
And clearly Levy doesn't value mourinho's opinions very much anyway, as he sacked him.
But we have a plan , so that's alright, I guess.

Yes it is!
Err again no it isn't.

Levy is not getting involved in anything to do with transfer negotiations etc right now. Nothing at all!

How long that will last is anyone's guess, but as things stand that's how it is.

Let’s hope it stays that way as he needs to stay well away from playing side!
