@Matthew, you disagree? Given how long it took to get from ENIC buying us and promising a stadium to actually breaking ground, things now seem to be going at an incredible pace. They delayed making a decision on that corner of the stadium, but as soon as it was taken, just a few weeks have seen that corner become just a shell and in a few more it will be gone. Things are moving amazingly quickly, but even if it could be quicker... Wrecking ball style, it seems a little churlish to rate disagree!

Didn't mean to click disagree, fat fingers on iPhone! Apologies

Just a though, but could Brexit actually help with financing the stadium?

I saw a report that said depending on how things go, then the Bank of England may cut interest rates to zero, which could mean cost free borrowing.

Cost free borrowing for banks. We can't borrow from the bank of england. Will see a reduction in the interest rate we pay though.

Ah okay, still it could be another potential upside from Brexit if we can arrange cheaper finance

Not wishing to export the Brexit discussion to this thread, but I think the risk margin might rise a touch and compensate for any fall in the underlying rate. In effect, any net change to the club should be negligible.

Love the amendments to the West elevation entrance. It was definitely the weakest part of the initial design.

THE über LANE

The Lane would live on, wishful thinking i know. Probably not what Uber has in mind though....

I hope they employ more cleaners for the outside of the stadium then they currently did! Turned into a rust bucket within 10 years. Hope this is the new era of bright spangly low maintenance build.

I notice that all of the graphics for the stadium show the 'To dare is to do' motto. I was hoping that 'Audere est facere' might make a comeback, and think it's a shame that it seems to have been dropped for good.

All part of the dumbing-down process, in my opinion. Mind you, kids struggle with English these days, so they wouldn't have a clue with a foreign language.
