Maybe, but if you look at the edges of the stand it does seem to angle In towards the pitch as you get towards the Kop.

Looks like the away fans are in north lower? Thought they would have been tucked away in the top 3rd tier.
I would have thought the best solution would be to give the away fans an entire slice of the North East corner, much like the setup they currently have in the south west corner. It keeps most away supporters back with a few in front in the lower tier to prevent those above throwing stuff down.

Id be interested to see the alternative plans for when we have to give larger away allocations.

So I got just an email about another survey to do with the new stadium. The email says these surveys are staggered so some of you may not have got it yet. A few of my questions were specific to being a bronze member though so some of you ST holders may get different ones. They asked about pricing and payment options at the new ground so I thought I'd take screenshots and post as it may give some indication of the options at the new ground.

So it's not just the local residents they are looking to price out then :(

It's a survey so I would guess if everyone replied back on all of those choices as I wouldn't choose any of them; then they would need to look again at the pricing.

Are the prices hugely up on what they currently are? Or what they'd have to raise them to in 3 years time if we had no new stadium?

I think they'd be missing a trick by not offering the four corners at a discounted rate for 1886 members aged 14-24 TBH

I'm not sure what they are at the moment, but these look like the prices a few or my Arsenal supporting mates pay for what are pretty rubbish seats.

Options. They're options. It's a survey. The objective is to try to find out what people prefer and what they would be prepared to accept. If everyone says "no" to a 5 year contract, then they won't do it.

Yea, no idea why anyone would make conclusions based on an option in a survey, they put in a myriad of different options to see where the public consensus lies. They probably put in the 5 yr contract thing as a longshot option, it's unlikely to end-up as an actual ST option unless you all want it.

Looking at those prices, I won't be able to afford it and isuspect others who can't afford a ST now won't be getting one in the new stadium. imo the south stand should be the cheapest, have concessions for 16-24 yr olds to allow for atmosphere and, more importantly, develop the support for the future. If the club prices out the youngsters then it won't have an atmosphere in the future!! Also, maybe the 1882 mob could consult with the club about having some of membership scheme to ensure the fans that like to do all the singing get the seats in the south stand.

Agree completely. And also the club also need to be careful I feel, to avoid having the largest and quietest kop in the world. Having the away fans where they are currently works really to stir up the support. If the club don't do anything to encourage both younger and more vocal supporters to the south stand, they may find them all going north.

I'd like to add that I hope 2-3k are left for non season ticket holders, nothing like a couple of thousand beered up chaps on a day out giving it some welly!! :)

South lower (single tier) is the same as Park Lane lower now so it looks like they are trying to keep the same sort of pricing system but investigating the scope for the additional capacity.

Well I pay £1205 west upper block 7, you can probably add 20-25% to those prices by the time the stadium is built
