You mean consistent CL qualification and 3 FA Cups in 4 seasons?Ask an Arsenal supporter how their stadium is working out for them.

What's happening to us now is what happened to arsenal. Gonna lose alot more top players in the next few years before we come out on the other side with money to compete again.
We weren't expecting 2 years worth of champs league qualification money when we started planning the new stadium. We certainly werent expecting £54m for Kyle Walker. We, like every other club, are getting ridiculous amounys of TV money... where is it all going!? We need to invest in the squad, and we cant expect to keep some of the most valuable players on the planet happy if we pay them half what they're worth.
Danny Rose hasn't helped matters lol.
SuppositionBut the difference is our manager won't stick around.
I don't see why he can't say what he thinks. I liked what he said = he has 1 chance left and wants to get paid what he wants. He might also play closer to home one day.
I don't see what the big problem is.

3 FA cups more than us in the last 10 yearsAsk an Arsenal supporter how their stadium is working out for them.
Spot onThe new stadium is well worth it. As for our lack of strengthening i'm getting sick and tired of a majority of the supposed fans of spurs lately. There seems to be this huge obsession with signing a player, any player ,even bloody Andre Gray for nearly 19 million. It's a joke and look what happened last time we went out and signed a ton of players. It all went to crap, people need some perspective and also buying new players for the sake of it is pointless. It's basically like wanting a player for the sake of it, also comparing ourselves to Man City,Chelsea and Man Utd is also pointless as we are not a money bags team and at this current stage cannot attract a top top end player as they demand wages that are now way out of our league.
I'm sure a ton of people will disagree and whinge about no ambition but that's just crap. Spurs are in a great position , have ambition (just look at the new training area and ground being built) and have been doing amazingly well recently but that is due to the manager and Levy being smart. If we went out buying every player like some seem to want us to do and also pay the high end wages we would be bankrupt and in masses of debt.

Currently 8 really shortsighted people on here haha
suspect there is a correlation between the years supporting Spurs and your answer to that question....if you were a Spurs fan the morning of the 1991 semi knowing that we could go bust or at best would need to sell Gazza to avoid that fate AND were just about to face a supremely talented version of our hated enemy....this Rose spat is nothing....the lack of new players isn't a problem and the stadium is incredibly important
watch it --- Howells left it all on the pitch --- remember him winding Keane up something chronic in the 1991 final:I'd say if u don't remember Howell's or Austin your a pretty lucky Spurs fan.
