Everyone associated with Newcastle, are fucking idiots. Specially the fans, let's hope Gross get's the job, and takes them further down the shitter.

That's their Diarra bid knackered then. They've just shown his press conference on SSN, where he was talking about their transfer targets, and offers he'd turned down for his players.

If this is true, it's fucking sudden. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

It's a source of constant relief to me: no matter how shambolic we become, we will never be as utterly ridiculous as Newcastle.

Newcastle are a joke. Big Sam should have been given time. What did the stupid geordies expect, instant success? You know what they'll do, they'll try and get Shearer. I just hope they give him time.

Btw he hasn't been sacked. Big Sam and Newcastle have parted company.

Official statement "NUFC has parted company with Fat Sam by mutual consent".

Fat Sam said "I am disappointed to be leaving".

Don't sound too mutual to me!

Newcastle should have never sacked Sir Bobby. They were playing Champions League under him, he was great for them.

What a joke.

He needed time. He clearly likes to play 433/451 and at Newcastle he didn't have the players. You have to have good % footballers for winning long balls and set peices to play that way, as he had at Bolton. You have to have quality in the middle 3, which he didn't have at Newcaslte and you need players with the more rounded game like Anelka, Stellios and Diouf to play off a target man like Davies or Viduka. Owen and Martins aren't like that. Bascially you close up the midfied, play deeper and compact, win your set peices and longs balls at either end (ie % football) and have front players who can hold the ball up, play out wide and drop back to make a midfield 5. Newcaslte's players weren't suited to that, so Sam had to play 442, which isn't his preffered game.

We complain about what has gone on at our beloved Tottenham but Newcastle are in a whole different galaxy!
