I dont know but I have ALOT of faith in Darren Bent, comfortably the 3rd best English striker behind Owen and Rooney who are both World Class, and also the leading goalscorer in the Premiership over the past 3 seasons if you take out the likes of Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba, he can't be that bad can he???

I think he could be the difference today. What I said preseason about him was:

I am a really big fan of Bent. He has great awareness and vision, great pace and he isn't scared to hit the target from 30 yards. He is also a nuisence in the box with the head. What I also like is his movement, how he drags defencders wide leaving alot of space in the middle and when this isnt being occupied he make some great runs off the defenders backs into the space himself.

I would love him at The Lane, but the more and more I look at the story the more I think he'll end up at Liverpool, where I believe he will smash the goals in and make Liverpool more of a Premiership contending side.

Now to turn up for us

glad Hudd was droped for this game (and i like Hudd) but we needed a more mobile player in there for this one (would have wanted tainio though) the midfield might be able to stand up and battle back against newcastles! lets just hope if keane drops off, we get some good balls into Bent

Interested that Bent starts, I am very suprised at that choice! Keano is, without a doubt, a legend as he'll show again tonight. Such as underrated player.

Well done Newcastle, they deserved the win ! Spurs ... oh dear ... where do we go from here .. still bottom THREE ... No sign of recovery, but today's game has convinced me this team has got serious issueds .. Its going to be very hard season .. mid table or relegation ...
