It's obvious our players deflated the moment chelskij ended our title hopes. We have the ability to find our way back into this game, but I just can't see the players finding the motivation for it sadly. Still this is a good season and we shouldn't forget about that based on a few games at the end of the season. We're in the Champions League next season, no fucking thursday games in obscure countries.

If nothing else, there are plenty of our 'squad' players who won't be about and need upgraded if we are going to seriously compete next year in League & CL.

I'm absolutely gutted by what's happening today. However, the way some of you have rounded on this young side is pathetic. We've had a blinding season up until the last few weeks. Telling some of these players to "fuck off" just because we aren't going to get bragging rights is quite frankly absurd. I wanted this badly too, but maybe they are exhausted and are squad depth is the problem, not because "they couldn't give a shit"
If they are exhausted then the stats would tell Poch that and he should be playing other squad players who want to actually run around.

This is fucking embarrassing.

Why isn't Rose playing? Davies has been awful.

Mason has really not turned up when call upon.

Walker has gone back to the fucking idiot he has been for the rest of his career too. Ever since Chelsea he's been a shell of the player he's been all season.

After this game I will isolate myself on an island far away from civilization with my volleyball named Wilson. I'm just tired of this shit. If I don't do this, the only thing I will hear every single day is how we bottled it.

If they don't have the motivation then they'll never win anything.

So glad I opted not to go up there this weekend, but for those of you blaming Alli and Dembele for this should remember there are 12 well paid players out there who should beat this pile of crap with ease. I feel sorry for those die hards have spent a load of dosh to watch this crap

At least they got a night out on the lash in newcastle for it!

Better than what we've got.

Who said there was such togetherness between players and fans? Imagine the loyal few thousand, dreading getting back into kings cross...

People are scapegoating, but there is no one out there, or in the dug out, doing their job and earning their money. Not one sole.

What's the point of eating with Fergie when there's a million other useful things you could be doing? Save the contract,,the lunches, and all that bollox till the seasons over. All this stuff is a distraction, and unprofessional.

This lot are shot, but we won't be able to brake them down, it's our weakness, the time will just melt away... Doubled by relegated dross, thousands of bets lost all over North London and beyond... Gut wrenching.

Come on Villa! Eek.

Before folks get on their high horse about how we should excercise perspective, keep in mind those of us who have supported the team for over three decades. The opportunity for our highest finish since the late 60s, and finishing above the Gooners for the first time in 20 years is a VERY big deal. So, yeah, watching us limp dick our way to the finish line really does leave a very sour taste in my mouth. Makes me irate to see us display this level of indifference and ineptitude. Fans deserve more. Effing disgraceful this performance.

The mentality around this club is just awful. I love the guy but Poch has to take the blame for this, the attitude of the players has just been so bad in the last 3 weeks. Our best even season but we've just shown everyone that we are weak, and no one seems to appreciate what it means to the fans to finish above arsenal. Absolutely fuming.

It's not about the bragging rights, it's about the fact they have not bothered to turn up and are not bothered about finishing second, it's spinless and a typical spurs situation, the type of situation we thought we had finally done away with.

There is no excuse for it, I don't care how good the season has been, to end it like this is unacceptable and leaves a sour taste in the mouth, we haven't even beaten AVB's best point total, that shows that we are not as good as we clearly think we are.
Fuck the points table. It's about the position. Did you think we'd finish 2nd or 3rd. We have champions league football now, if you're not happy with that then I don't know what to say.

And, maybe they haven't bottled it, maybe its inexperience and tiredness.

Was fully expecting you to come out on your high horse and tell people to suck it up!
There are times when that's absolutely the right thing to do. If you follow a football team you're going to win, you're going to lose. You're going to play well, indifferently or crap. On any given Sunday yatta yatta yatta.........It comes with the territory......

But this ain't one of them days :D

can't expect a miraculous turnaround in form for start of next season either, may as well kiss next years title chances goodbye
