In the summer we have to move on Llorente, Sissoko, Dembele and Trippier. Its doesn't matter if the replacements are new transfers, return of our loanees or promotion of some of the youth players, as long as its an upgrade on these players.
We can't keep holding on to them for any longer.

I only really watched the first half and the end of the second but (and I say this as someone who thinks sissoko is a terrible footballer on the whole) that he played alright today. Especially in the first half. There were lots out there tonight who were worse than him. Most of the team in fact.

I am going to repeat what I have oft repeated here in recent years that to become a winning club with a winning mentality we have to actually win things. It is why going out to West Ham in the League Cup while City and Arsenal make the final now looks even worse upon reflection.

Teams use the League Cup as a springboard to success. If City win the final they will build on it as Man United and Chelsea have done in recent years. If Arsenal win they will do so at our temporary home, put silverware in the trophy room and for all the criticism of Wenger it will be a fourth trophy in five years.

The media and call in fans on Talksport say the top clubs don't take the League Cup and FA Cup seriously anymore. The record book would say otherwise. We are the only top six team not to have won a trophy since our last victory in 2008.

Pochettino, Kane, Alli, Eriksen et all will make a lot of money in the game at Tottenham and beyond and will never want for anything in their lives. When all is said and done they will be judged on their medal count.

I work with some great former players and coaches. I could care less how much money they have, the type of car they drive or the WAG they sleep with. I am still a fan when they talk about the finals they played in, the ones they won, the goals they scored. I judge them as players and coaches on what they have accomplished in the game. It should always be about glory and winning trophies.

Here’s a little pick-me-up for you my friend.

I was chatting to the old man after the game. He told me about our FA Cup run in ‘61 when we were drawn away against Crewe Alexander (another Welsh mob). We nicked a draw there, with them hitting the post with virtually the last kick of the game.

They then came down to WHL where we smashed them 13-2.

Here’s the bit to make you smile, when they arrived in London it was on platform 2. When they left it was on platform 13!

Even our greatest ever side struggled against minnows away.

Have faith, we will smash them at Wembley.
Have they moved the border?

Sissoko was our best player in the first half, the rest of the team were woefully shit, probably the worst I have seen us all season quite frankly.

In the second half Son came on, our team went up a gear and Sissoko stayed at the level he was at in the first half and was quite comfortably our worst player from that point forward, he even managed to nearly meg himself LOL.

I have never seen a player at this level look so uncomfortable with a football at their feet before in that part of the pitch that wasn't a defender.

He is utterly shit, I like the guy, he works hard, he clearly is trying and I can't fault that but he has about as much footballing talent as a league 2 player quite frankly and that was pretty apparent today to say the least.

I'm sorry but this is just more confirmation bias - second half Sissoko made a few errors and looked awkward with the ball at his feet like he always does but they paled when compared to far greater errors made by players with better dribbling skills. Hell, even Kane made more skill errors than Sissoko in this game. Everyone is ignoring how well Sissoko held the ball up and dished off - something far better players in Wanyama and Dembele struggled all match to do.

I just find it incredible how people are ignoring reality. No wonder Poch finds it all bemusing. You are literally reporting Fake Football news. He's an average player overall, yes, but he was comfortably one of our best tonight. And why he'll be selected again over other worse performing but much more talented players in games to come.

Hopefully Wanyama returns to form and Moura comes and stars so Sissoko will be irrelevant. It's depressing reading Spurs fans typing utter shite week after week.

If your going to risk kane in a game like this then you may as well go full strength and get the job done and then take off players. Now we have a replay we could have done without.

Wasn't it platform 2 when they returned to Crewe?

Great result for football. What the fa cup is all about.

Should beat them at wembley.
With regard to the result, I'm glad that they will go to Wembley and get much needed funds. As fans of our club, one that almost went under financially, we should be sympathetic to what they have been through.
