I think we need to make our mind up soon, either way.

2 years ago we messed around with Ten Hag who then went and signed a new deal while we chased unlikely candidates like Flick, Nagelsmann, Conte and Poch. By the end of the window I bet Levy & co were wishing we'd just gone with Tan Hag to begin with rather than being stuck with turds like Gattuso and Nuno once everyone else rejected us.

If we don't tie things up with Nagelsmann soon there's every chance Slot does the same as Kompany and commits to another season with Feyenoord. Especially if they're throwing a massive shiny contract in his face and begging him to take them into the CL.

Interested to see how a manger “pushes” for another club? Is he sat in a tent outside the training ground refusing to move until he gets an offer?🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Believe @Mkrabby the source is basically the Ali Gold of Feyenoord

If true, thats great. I want a coach who really wants to be manager of Spurs. None of this Conte/ Mourinho BS about them doing us a favor. Now, if Nagelmann is keen, he'd be obviously first choice. But Slot looks good. I could get behind a Slot managerial reign.

I honestly think I'd be happiest with Mason. Really like what I'm seeing.
Although I respect your opinion I think this is absolutely insane. Mason has done well in a couple of matches but does not have the experience at this level to seriously be given a job of this size. Especially with the calibre of managers currently available.

I want a manager who actively wants to manage us and be part of the club. I’ve had enough of egomaniacs acting like they’re doing us a favour by gracing us with their presence. Slot pushing to secure the job is a ‘uge tick in the Yes box for me. Still feels to me like Nagelsmann is waiting around to see what else comes up

What makes people think that Slot would leave straightaway after winning the league, they’ll get more money, qualify for the CL and try to build on a great season. Kompany is doing a similar thing.
It’s been said by ITKs that Slot is keen and would join us (the crazy fool lol).

Yes pleaseeeeeeeeee he feels like he could be Martin Jol mark II.

He's probably at this point my n.o1 preference as he just gives off this warm feeling and his teams play such lovely Spurs type of football and he'd actually like to be our Manager rather than some of the other options who might see us more as a stepping stone.

I'm sure Nagelsmann would take it if we have a DOF in place who has the same plans as him. You could look at it as if Slot is pushing for the move he's more about the increased pay. If he's pushing when we don't even have a DOF in place it could be a concern. I doubt he is though, its probably just more paper talk and nothing has changed. I can't see any manager being convinced until the DOF is here or at least to be assured of us getting one who will fit with their plans.
