Disappointing that it won't be Nagelsmann. But, I've really liked the ITK regarding Slot and after reading about his approach and tactics I think he would be a good fit and someone that we could get behind

You're keeping it, when you're feeling as down trodden as the rest of us? You do realise the waiting list is an illusion right? Seems most that ditch their seat get offered another within 12 months if on a bronze membership. This is the last straw for me now, no chance I'm renewing.

You are spot on tbh…. I came very very very close to not renewing.

However, pig-headedness made me renew…I’ve been a STH since 1987, why the fuck should I let Levy and ENIC make me not renew?

Therein lies the problem….. sigh

I love how people are so convinced Nagelsmann is the one and only savior of Spurs. I wanted him too but bloody hell it's hardly certain he would be the best choice.
There is a chance we actually prefer someone else anyway. No point losing our shit over it.
Best give it mason then 🥴

Well then we better hope I’m a better judge of character than you are 😂 otherwise we truly are fucked
Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I think Slot, De Zerbi would be far, far better choices.

Everyone ridicules United over the "Ole's at the wheel" backing for "One of their own". I feel that Mason would be a shorter, much less successful version of the same story.

Meanwhile, the bloke in the dark jacket and brown pullover has just released a statement insisting that Julian Nagelsmann was never on his list of people to hug and that he has no plans to approach him with a view to a hug...

This is the problem with having Levy around.

Most other clubs without a DOF and you'd join the dots and believe that the DOFs that they are considering/appointing have said they prefer another coach. You'd likely be okay with that because the DOF should always be deciding on the coach.

But because it's Levy, and we don't have a DOF, it's hard to see past "Nagelsmann made demands and Levy wasn't willing to make them".

My hope is that we have lined up a DOF who really likes/prefers Slot or Alonso etc but knowing us it'll be get the coach and then see which DOF wants to work with that coach.

- We all felt this way when Van Gaal went to Utd
- A lot of people said Poch didn’t have enough experience or pedigree and couldn’t speak the language
- We all lost our shit at getting Conte

We haven’t got a fucking clue

If Slot and Mason are in the running, I'd throw Gallardo into the mix to If I were Levy. Another one who would be looking to build his profile and very likely play ball with the way Levy operates without making too much noise.

I can't believe we haven't spoken to Nagglesman (or at least his agent). I wonder if it's something to do with him still being contracted to Bayern and needing their permission first.

Well that's a bit of a bummer I was hoping for Nagelsmann.
If it is Slot let's hope he turns out to be one of those coaches that pretty much turn up and surprise everyone like, de Zerbi, Potter(yes Potter) and Pochettino.
All I will say is if it is Slot and everything goes to plan I don't see success rearing it's head next year as it'll take it time.

Of course he’s said no, he’s been publicly our top choice, to word it as if we never had any interest makes them look like more of a shitshow than just saying we couldn’t agree on football decisions.
My bet is, he had his demands re wages and transfers (which were well publicised) and was very happy to come on those terms. Levy didn’t like his terms so gave him a reduced offer which Nagelsmann wasn’t willing to accept so turned us down. Now we are spinning it as if we never liked him anyway. This reeks of JN not liking the terms Levy was offering.

The minute there were stories about demands re transfers etc, even if he wasn’t asking asking for a big budget just control, I think it was destined to break down.
