I’m starting to wonder if there’s a managers WhatsApp group and they’re just taking it in turns now…

Doesn't mean Brighton would be where they are if they got him instead though.

I'm not convinced by him being good enough. Just look at how they did in Europe recently and you can see that.

Surely you can apply this same logic to how RDZ performed with Shakhtar in the CL (virtually identical to Ange at Celtic)?

I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt up until now. But we’re now scrabbling around for third and fourth choices.

The club simply had to get it right this time. If Slot is first choice then just pay the money.

Can’t see anything except disaster from here on out. Gonna be looking for a new boss in November again probably.

It’s disappointing not to get Slot and I’m not downplaying what he’s achieved at Feyenoord but the standard in the last 1-2 years has most certainly dropped or should I say since Ajax have been stripped bare, the league is now very competitive in terms of multiple teams can now win the league/achieve success.

Whereas in the EPL he would have been up against multiple clubs with very deep pockets. We would need to tailor our expectations as shy of a major overhaul/investment this summer and if Kane leaves? we’ll be very fortunate to break into the top 6.

At what point do we declare this a more miserable search than last year's?

If we appoint Rodgers I don't think I'm gonna bother next year. I feel really bad for steering my kids to Tottenham.

As someone posted previously here, RDZ is doing as well as he is - because Brighton are right now a well run club, with a successful scouting and recruitment model, they have a strategy and direction, and they're on the crest of a wave right now, the cogs are all turning and the wheels are all spinning.

You drop a currently successful and high-performing manager into the shitshow, on fire, rudderless bag of **** that we are right now and watch what happens - again!!

How about Levy as manager for a year, then once he fucks up Levy will have to fire Levy.

Only way he gets out the club i think.

I totally agree, but you have to start somewhere. Brighton did it with Potter and it took time... as fans we need to accept that it's going to take longer than a season to sort this shite out.

I tell you what, you are not a poster I expect to feel like this and I think that speaks volumes of how much credit the club has spent with the fans in general tbh.
