Good Evening All
Reading various threads, seeing protests and the general feeling about the current owners gives me the indication we need to discuss looking at who we want our next owners to be. I get the feeling the message these days is, "Thank you levy for a nice stadium, please now #### ###". I don't agree with this. Anyway, i have looked at the forbes list for the richest people around the world that could afford us and may show more intent on winning trophies and not just finishing top 4.
Sauce: Forbes List
#1 | Jeff Bezos
NET WORTH: $177 BILLION
SOURCE OF WEALTH: AMAZON
RESIDENCE: SEATTLE
Spursfan1991 comment: We may have a documentary to watch every season on what goes on behind the scenes. I will particularly look forward to Hitchen telling us how he hates his job every year and then wonder why we have such average players playing for us.
#2 | Elon Musk
NET WORTH: $151 BILLION
SOURCE OF WEALTH: TESLA, SPACEX
RESIDENCE: AUSTIN, TEXAS
Spursfan1991 comment: Our stadium looks like its from out of space so i think he will fit right in.
#3 | Bernard Arnault
NET WORTH: $150 BILLION
SOURCE OF WEALTH: LUXURY GOODS
RESIDENCE: PARIS
Spursfan1991 comment: No idea who this person is and cannot be bothered to do research. It says luxury goods and i shop at Tesco's and Next which may explain why i don't know him.
#4 | Bill Gates
NET WORTH: $124 BILLION
SOURCE OF WEALTH: MICROSOFT
RESIDENCE: MEDINA, WASHINGTON
Spursfan1991 comment: Really good at predicting the future, he warned us about the pandemic, maybe he can warn us when we have to endure miserable football that Jose served up last 18 months so we can do something better instead.
#5 | Mark Zuckerberg
NET WORTH: $97 BILLION
SOURCE OF WEALTH: FACEBOOK
RESIDENCE: PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA
Spursfan1991 comment: Owner of a social media site mainly used by old people. He may sell your data to your rivals which might not be a problem in the case of football.
#Made this one up | Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS)
NET WORTH: lots
SOURCE OF WEALTH: Oil
RESIDENCE: Saudi Arabia
Spursfan1991 comment: Terrific beard, lovely headwear, heard he is great to have a cup of tea with. He may take out our opponents before we play them which will increase our chances of winning trophies.
