This season is more or less done and dusted as far as I'm concerned. We've either won it or we're second, and either way we've been glorious and face still bigger challenges next season.

How do you think it'll go? There's been much speculation all over the site about players coming and going and rivals strengthening or faltering, but how do you really think it'll pan out?

I don't think anyone will leave. I think we'll make a couple of big signings. Our wealthier rivals will build but they'll still lag a year or two in development. More mid-table teams will be strong enough to take points off anyone. In summary, I think it'll be as competitive as this season but to a higher standard, and of course we'll win it. I'm putting $50 on now.

Jesus, the season is far from done. You can't ask us this question yet. End of the season/after the Euros when signings are rumoured/made is a better time to ask

No matter what happens I believe we have The best foundation for success.

A top 3 finish next season would really be a statement and a shift in The "classic top 4".

If we win it next year I truly believe we will have a great decade as one of europes best teams!

Still 4 huge cup finals to play for us, but We'll finish at least 3rd I think so a massive achievement already.

Worry a little that the super unexpected progress of this season will raise expectations to perhaps unrealistic levels next season

Think we're still a massive work in progress and will have some bumpy times

Consistent CL qualification is the dream.

I don't think we'll make any big signings in the summer - it's always hard with a summer tournament as the best players are away for a long time, plus I don't think Poch wants any "big" signings. I think we'll sign a couple of players to give us more strength in depth - the major one being a striker, hopefully.

If we can manage another top 4 finish and stay relevant at the top towards the end it'll represent a see-change in the structure of the Premier League, as it'll mean we've finally arrived.

Aim for next season is top 4 finish and consolidation. I dont see us making many changes this summer, we have some decent players coming through who will continue to be introduced into the first team squad (Onomah, Pritchard, Winks, etc.). We will probably go for a back-up DMF to cover Dier and a forward to cover Kane, that's probably it.

There are so many things that could happen between now and next season starting that its pretty much impossible to predict.

We could suffer a spate of injuries to key players, we could lose our manager, we could sell, we could buy, Daniel Levy could grow 36 inches in height and a full head of hair and become the new James Bond......... etc etc

We are currently, widely acknowledged to be the best footballing team in England, regardless of who wins the Premiership.

Next year, in the Champions League, we'll see if what we're putting together right now, is going to frighten any of the so called 'big boys' of European football.

I have a feeling that despite most of Europe being very aware of the kind of football we're playing, we are going to surprise a few of the more established sides.

Actually I think it's a good question and also agree that we should now finish 1st or 2nd. Aim is to have a squad that is strong enough to cope with Champions League (you can't rest players from that save for the full back switch) and go for a top 4 or better finish.

To do that we need to add 3 or 4 quality players to the squad.

No way, the players are thinking about next season, when they're not thinking about the game at hand, of course. They'll all still be here. I'll bet my dog on it.

Now you're just being silly. I watched a show about Greenland melting today so who knows.

That's how I see it. Essentially the same team but thicken up the depth to go for broke in two massive competitions.

Next season is pretty much done and dusted as far as I'm concerned. I'm concentrating on 2017/2018 and on how I'll get to home games.

The players we have are so good and young, I believe in our current set-up, they will be even better next season, individually and as a team. Almost like new signings/upgrades from this year! A second striker is an absolute must - maybe even a third, what with CL. We don't want to burn Kane out as he's now played, virtually non stop for two seasons.

That's the spirit, although you could lift the event horizon a bit. I'm looking forward to the early 2020s when I move back to England and am best mates with Daniel Levy and my kids all play for Spurs youth teams.

The one thing that already worries me about next season is the prospect of a slow start. We'll have so many players at the Euros that we're unlikely to hit the ground running. Also, we must be prepared for the possibility of Alli losing form for a while in view of the speed of his rise and the distance he's come.

The point I'm going to make now perhaps belongs in the Summer Wish List thread but I'll say it here instead. While I accept the view that too many new purchases would upset the applecart, too few purchases could also be detrimental. It's the Liverpool thing from the 1970s and '80s: the time to buy is when you're in a position of strength.

We can offer Champions League football. We may not be able to do so again the following season. Therefore we must capitalise while we can. If there are two or three youngsters out there that Poch and Mitchell fancy (and who would improve us - obviously!), the time to buy them is NOW, not in 2017 or '18. Because, as Ferris Bueller so rightly pointed out, life moves pretty fast.

Whoever we sign we need to get them in quickly, they need time to adapt to Poch's training and tactics
