Tarrico-absoutely loved him-the way he used to win free kick after free kick with ridiculous dives was brilliant and his goal against leeds was special.

Ricketts-really took a liking to him and when he scored against coventry, it coincided with me needing a new email address for msn messenger and, in the biggest impulse move of all time, it became lil_ro_is_god haha

Mido-the magic man. What a hero. So good in the air in that season with us and who knows where he might be now if the African nations never existed as a tournament as that little jaunt to Egypt certainly tarnished if not ruined his credentials at the club.

This thread is starting to remind me of a blog I saw where someone posted the all-time worst Spurs squad, in formation (with subs bench).

Old idea, but somewhere in the comments was THE perfect, worst-Spurs-team-of-all-time. There wasn't a player I could argue or find a closer second to.

It struck such a terrifying chord with with me. Burnt my eyes, and all I could see for days was a 'Pony' logo with the words 'Hewlett Packard' close enough underneath.

Not sure such a negative thread would be appreciated here, and I'll bet it's been done to death already.

Oh, and for any of those who did actually appreciate Rohan Ricketts, but tend to thread skip, I recommend tracking back in this thread for pictures of 50 Cent in a Rohan Ricketts football shirt. His favourite 'soccer' player.

This thread though, not even a thin streak of love for Bobby Mimms?

Thought not.

I'm pretty sure at one point or other, there was a pair of Bobby Mimms signature goalie gloves on the market.

Nicola Berti

Alas, he is now a fat bastard....

Shit, he was quite the archetypal handsome Italian, riding a moped whilst sipping an espresso, and simultaneously stealing your girlfriend on your holiday. What happened Nicola?

Well, if that's him now at 41, then he's doing alright.

Surely that must be a few years back, still?

Tiny touch of the Gabriele Marcotti about him, except thankfully you don't expect him to open his mouth and have a smug torrent of bullshit come flooding out.

I loved Edinburgh. He even got sent off in the league cup final in 1999. I remember him as a player who you could bank on getting sent off at least once a year for serious foul play. In any other player I would hate this but in him it just made me laugh in a 'boys-will-be-boys' way.
YeahTramezzani was bad but he he only played a handful of games. Edinburgh almost got a frickin testamonial....very wrong. I don't know if there is any resource online to find out how many penalties a player gave away in their career, but I would be surprised if it wasn't in the hundreds

I can't picture the incident exactly, but I remember it was Robbie Savage who was incredibly afflicted.

Nielsen's reaction, diving header was fantastic. No chance for Kasey Keller.

Umm, Kasey Keller... any takers?
