I expect Dzeko to go to Dortmund, play a year with Lewandowski and then lead the line there alone after next summer.

Dortmund's DoF has said they won't make anymore more signings.

Dzeko has to look elsewhere, maybe Napoli.

United have apparently turned down a bid from Chelsea. £10m + either Luiz or Mata.

Why would the Ruskies want to get rid of Mata? If they're looking to sell him then I imagine there will be hundreds of clubs interested.

As for Rooney, it looks like he'll be plying his trade elsewhere next season.

If I was Moyes I would have snapped Roman's hand off. Mata would contribute a lot more over a season than Rooney.

Totally agree, but Mourinho's claiming it was a pure cash offer. I think he knows he'd be stupid to let Mata go.

Utd wouldn't have need for Mata anyway, they have Kagawa for that role who will surely blossom and become a key player under Moyes this season if they finally sell Rooney. They'd be better off just taking the full money and invest in other areas (a CM to partner Carrick a glaring necessity)

Sky Italy claiming that United have contacted Real Madrid for Modric.

Can't see Madrid selling so soon, especially after Modric started showing what he could do over the second half of the season. Would be crazy to sell, plus, it'd kill me to see him in a United shirt.

If it was another manager, it would seem more realistic. Just knowing how highly Ancelotti has spoken about Modric in the past, and that he tried to sign him for both Chelsea and PSG makes it hard to believe. But again, "you never know."

How much say has a Real Madrid manager ever had in transfers though? Ancellotti may love him, but if Perez decides he wants to sell he'll sell.

Rooney to Chelsea would be v. strange... Burt did call this quite confidently.

Also Hulk to Monace? Porto mk. II ... Very odd

United playing games with Real and Barca? Hoping to get Modric/Fabregas on the 'cheap'? Chelsea and United winding each other up already? Interesting few weeks ahead.

With Cisse/Ameobi reportedly wanting out, I wonder if Newcastle would want Defoe? They were linked with him a couple of years ago if I'm remembering things right.

Yep and I bet he love to link on with Pardew. If he doesn't leave this season, I fully expect a Harry Reunion(if Roy hasn't been sacked!)
