When somebody calls me clueless and an idiot, i will send the posts your way then

Yes that is nearly what you're supposed to do. Better to click the report button on offensive posts rather than start being abusive and getting banned yourself.

I don't care what you say Dr House, I do use the rulebook.

Well there seems to be a lot sand in a lot of vaginas in this thread...

To bring it back on track, when we signed all of our new mofos I envisioned this team:

----------------Lloris-------------------

Walker Kaboul Vertonghen Rose

-----------Sandro Paulinho----------

-------Lamela Eriksen Chadli-------

----------------Soldado--------------

I still think that if everyone finds form/fitness etc then that would be my chosen team, although Capoue, Holtby and Townsend have certainly put their hands up for inclusion this season.

But I'd go with the above, and even if you make it a 4-3-3 I'd say it's roughly the same.

My subs would be: Friedel, Chiriches, Dembele, Capoue, Holtby, Townsend, Adebayor

Fuck me we've got a strong squad.

Lamela needs to be patient. I'd like to see him start against United and if we're losing against City I'd be happy to see him come off the bench too. I want him to get more chances like everyone else but I'm not going to get carried away and make sweeping about him having to start every game or act like he's a way better option than Townsend or Lennon on the right.

Not sure why we need to make so many changes for an away game though. Our form is actually pretty good on the road and AVB's methods are working just fine. Ask City and Chelsea whether Villa, Cardiff and Everton away are easy games. Apart from Palace and Arsenal(our first 2 away games) we've actually played well, I thought, and whilst it might be a bit on the dull side I'll take the points however they come in those games. It's at home where we need to get our arses in gear and start scoring goals and getting reults.
The changes are due because Man City at home are a formidable side.
We need to stop there attacks and one DM will not cut it.
Should we lose the next 2(quite possible) we could start to be left behind.
We need a top 4 spot its that simple.
If we dont, players such as Verts, loris sandro and so forth could be off.
Then its back to square one.
I said at the beginning of the season we need to collect as many points as possible while the team gels.
Only the West ham and newcastle games have annoyed me, we should have won these games.
The team is not gelling because the personnel are not playing and this is very worrying.
Lamela and Erickson were brought in increase our attacking potential and feed soldado.
The longer they dont get game time together, the longer it will take time to gel.
Then we could be miles off the pace and then we have to start to seriously consider losing our best players.

Our best Starting 11 Would include 2 Strikers imho, me writing down a formation is Silly cause 442 I don't see us playing, and I am no AVB, I know Soldado has played the loan striker before in spain but we are not in spain, As you all can see Lamela is chilling sitting on a bucket full of Money, y buy a guy not to play him Jesus, and AVB is gonna have to man up and throw Ade out there imho. You have 1 Job AVB to get spurs in the Top 4, not Fade in and out of the Top 4, look @ the top 4.

WTF are we doing in 7th: Nuff Said

Saying people don't have a clue about football, their only knowledge about football is through computer games and their posts are criminal are digs.

Considering you have no grasp of the basics of the English language you really aren't in a position to question other people's intelligence.

Bit of friendly advice. Don't quote mods and argue with them. Accept them as our overlords and move on.
Thanks for the advice.
im not saying your insignificant, but im rather busy(y)

Id like to see holtby and erikson play in the same line up. Clever players bring the best out of other clever players. Look at how VdV and modric played together. Lamela looks like being the option aginst park the bus teams... He's more of a technical player, much less direct than Townsend.

Floats in and out of games too much, mostly out. Undoubtedly talented player but I don't feel he has justified a starting spot so far. I don't believe in a "starting 11" anyway, I believe in tailoring to the opposition, so he would start some games if I was in charge. However he hasn't shown enough to dislodge anyone in my lineups to play in a position he isn't comfortable with. Wouldn't bet against him being in my "starting 11" come the end of the season though.

Of course he would be a sub.

My subs would be: Gomes, Dawson, Kaboul, Dembele, Holtby/Capoue, Townsend/Gylfi, Ade/Kane
