I can only see us signing possibly 1 more player before we consider the squad to be complete, and that would be another striker, though we may choose to use the youth team to fill the void.

GK - Lloris, Vorm
RB - Walker, Tippier
CB - Vertonghen, Toby, Wimmer, Fazio, Dier
LB - Rose, Davies
CM - Bentaleb, Mason, Dembele, Alli, Carroll
AMF - Eriksen, Lamela, Chadli, Townsend, Prichard
ST - Kane, Soldado, New Player

I think that's the squad we'll go into the season with.

All the players who played regulaly in the team that finnished 5th last season are still there, plus some defensive additions. It wouldn't supprise me to see Fazio go from that list as I don't think we need 5 CB's.

I believe that Chiriches, Fredericks, Lennon and Adebayor will be sold and Yedlin will be loaned out.

Thats 23/24 players, of which only 20/21 need to be registered with Dier, Bentaleb and Alli all still under age.
That gives us 9/10 Home Grown players plus Bentaleb and Alli who will qualify, and 11/12 Non-Home Grown players plus Dier. almost 50/50. That would give us 7 Club Trained players and I bet there's not another club in the division who can boast those numbers.Thats quite a change from the squad we had last season but keeps the core of it in place aswell as having enough space to give our youngsters propper oppertunities to make a name for themselves.

Picture says it all, Stambouli to PSG complete.

5th out of the 9 I was expecting/hoping for (so over half way) - Adebayor, Soldado, Chirches and Lennon to go ?

Lloris, Vorm. (McGee)
Walker, Trippier, Yedlin. (Walker-Peters)
Rose, Davies. (Ogilvie)
Alderweireld, Dier, Fazio. (Carter-Vickers)
Vertonghen, Wimmer. (Velkjovic)
Rabiot/Song/McCarthy?, Mason. (Winks)
Bentaleb, Carroll. (Ali)
Lamela, Townsend. (Onomah)
Eriksen, Dembele, Pritchard. (Ward)
Chadli, Berahino/Ntep/Pato? (Oduwa)
Kane, Batshuayi/Berahino (Coulthirst)

25 players (plus youth options)
Although not all 25 would need listing as some are U21. Maybe room for a Cambiasso or Motta type player to come in and mentor some of our young midfielders?

25 players in the main squad is too many for me, players 22-25 will hardly play (unless we have a big injury list) and nor will any of the youngsters.

Think Poch wants a lean squad so think that means 22 - and in turn that means any experienced players (eg Cambiasso) needs to be one of the main squad whilst unless Walker is very unfit (and he's played in a friendly so far) Yedlin is likely to be loaned out.

Townsend and Carroll will probably go. Soldado might stay, and we only bring in an AM/CF along with a DM. Yedlin might not go on loan as he'd be our only player who can play as an out and out winger, and can also change the game in an instant with his pace off the bench. So we're left with 23, plus McGee, Veljkovic, Onomah, Alli, and possibly Oduwa and/or CCV from the youth. Think Winks and Coulthrist will go on loan while Ogilvie and KWP stay with the u21s.

Carroll may be the price to get Ade off the books to Villa, and if he stayed think he would not play as much as he would like.

Townsend is the enigma. Lamela is still not outstanding, so if we are going to upgrade our RW this season, who are we going to trade ? If we sell Townsend are we going to want a £30m (or whatever) sub on the bench ? Think we may not sell either this TW ?

If we get in a striker/WF and DM I'm happy - not sure we will want Soldado as 3rd striker on £60k/£80k pw and depreciating value so we may well sell. Will we get in a much younger inexperienced striker (eg Obbi Oulare) or an AM/WF ?

Yedlin's going t be a funny one as he's not going to be back until end of pre-season, so Poch will need to make his mind up on the post season 2 matches, and I'm not sure how much he's seen of him in an AM mode. Mind you that gives another option to the Lamela/Townsend conundrum I think we have.

Think I'll wait to see how the squad pans out before calling the youngster loans - Winks I am sure will go out on loan, but not sure on the others

We wont upgrade the RW position this season. Lamela has too much potential and we have too much invested in him for that. Much more likely that we'll do something on the left and bring in a WF/second striker there to compete with Chadli. Pritchard can play on the right as well, so he'd be the second option to Lamela.

Pritchard can play on the right, but its certainly not his best position. Hope he's into pre-season soon so Poch can see what he's good at, close up.

The Outs with guestimated wages PW

Paulhino £60k - Sale confirmed
Holtby £70k - Sale confirmed
Kaboul £ 50k - Sale confirmed 16 July
Chirches £30k
Capoue £40k - Sale confirmed 6 July
Adebayor £110k
Soldado £70k
Stambouli £30k - Sale confirmed 21 July
Lennon £50k
Dembele £50k (Edit - ITK says we are keeping him)

Total £560k so maybe £26m+ pa, even £30m pa in wages

Worth getting them off the books !

I can't say that this is legit, but I found this link

values in GPB weekly

£13 - Friedel
£47 - Kaboul
£17 - Stambouli
£42 - Capoue
£51 - Paulinho

And from another source that had Holtby at £3.5m per year.

£67 - Holtby

So fairly in line with your estimates. Right now we've removed £237 per week. And hopefully a huge part of Adebayor's £118 soon

Milos, Harry Winks and some of the young guys going on loan. Don't necessarily want Fazio to go, I liked parts of what I saw of him last year. But with Toby coming in, and Dier needing to get game-time, I think it might be the best way to go... Just guessing with the wages, but it looks like we'll save some money while getting a better squad. I like it, so does Levy!

This is what I'm hoping for anyway, McCarthy is a real good player and would suit Poch's style. Werner got great potential and if we don't sign him this summer I think we might regret it. Don't know that much about N'Jie, but got some very interesting abilities!

Captain: Hugo Lloris.
Vice: Jan Vertonghen & Harry Kane.

Agreed with all of that. Would take Berahino instead of Clinton N'Jie as an alternative. I think we are likely to see something close to what you have posted.

I'd be happy with that sort of mix. Would like to see Andros gone though and Yedlin stuck in the AM batch; that pace is just too good to leave out and he'd be a great sub for some games.

Could be interesting to see who features ion the MLS game squad - the first team probably travelling Sunday/Monday in order to get in some training at 5.000 foot altitude Denver

Think the players not available are injured/recovering Lloris, Mason, Pritchard and on after competition holidays Lamela and maybe Yedlin.

Youngsters who haven't travelled to am under 21 competition include McGee, Glover (bother GK's), Onomah.Winks, Coulthirst

GK (3) - ,Vorm, McGee, Glover
FB (4) - Walker, Rose ,Davies, Tripper
CB (5) - Vertonghen, Fazio, Dier , Wimmer, Alderweireld
CM (5) - Bentaleb, Carroll ( ?), Alli, Dembele, Winks
AM (3) - Townsend, Chadli, Eriksen, Onomah
FWD (2) - Kane, Coulthirst

Total 22.

Others who might fly after the u21 tournament to meet up with the first team include Oduwa and Veljkovic.

I would assume we need a decent sized squad as not sure if any of the players will manage the full 90 minutes

Carroll I've marked with a ? as I'm not sure if he is being sold (ITK), Yedlin might still be on hols after the Gold Cup or might meet up with Spurs in US

That's assuming Frederiks, Chiriches, Lennon, Soldado and Ade are sold, maybe Fazio and Carroll are at risk. Yedlin maybe loaned.
Signing McCarthy, Berahino and Austin.
23/24 man squad, although Bentaleb and I believe Berahino wouldn't actually need to be listed, 13 home grown players, 11 overseas trained. Dembele could cover CM as well as AM, Berahino would cover CF aswell as WF.
