Honestly think he has the potential to fulfill that number but there's just no way we are going to deal in those sorts of figures.

It's an option to buy at 90 million euros, if he comes in for a year and plays out of his skin then he'd be a bargain.

10 million euros as a loan fee is hardly breaking the bank.

However, I suspect wages would be the issue.

Wages aren't an issue, he's still a kid. Barca weren't going to hand him a huge deal his first go around as they likely expected that deal to be upgraded significantly over time. Most players at Barca/Real, etc. aren't on crazy wages from what I've seen. The stars are but its really ManU, City where the average players are making stupid money.

I thought the deadline for loan deals with option to perm is still til end of the month.Happy to be wrong on this!

I don't understand why we're not in for him if his wages aren't an issue.

We have CL football, a better stadium, better team, better manager and the French captain.

I could give you 90 million reasons

The 90 million euros is an option to buy. The option to buy could be a billion. You don't have to excercise it

If you wanted to sign him next Summer, you could negotiate a reasonable fee.
