Him and Kulu play the exact same position. From the right cutting in on left? Doesnt really make sense?
Kulu is versatile and can play more than one position, with playing centrally being one of them.

I mean we're not going to be able to turn around and act all shocked if his attitude stinks so presumably Conte is confident that he can get him in line.
You'd think they would have asked Hugo about his attitude.

Barca have made it clear that Dembele needs to find another club. Wouldn't be surprised if Barca would then subsidise the wages just to loan him out... he could be a no risk loan for us just like we had Bale last season. And if he does work out then we can renegotiate in the summer.

Him and griezman filmed themselves being racist to Asians so that tells you about his attitude
Dele made a racist video at the start of Covid and had his wrists slapped. I don't hear it keep coming back to haunt him. As long as the guy acknowledged what he did and owned his misdemeanour we need to give him the same chance at redemption.

If he comes here and smashes it, I’ll finally be able to forgive him for his shocking semi-final miss against Liverpool :D

At the time I had a fear that would have come back to haunt them. Losing the final to Barcelona would have been much more palatable. If we’d have lost of course.

We are talking about a player who 3-4 years ago was only behind the likes of Neymar and Mbappe for best young talent in world football. Would still consider him one of the top 50 footballers in the World based off his ability. You have to go for him. I think Conte and Hugo would sort out any attitude issues.

If we lost out to Barcelona on the Traore deal which leads to us taking Dembele from Barcelona I suggest the wheel of life just turned our way.
If we get him and come out ahead on the finances too, even better.
Plus we've already got a song for him haven't we?

I’d imagine this is something where we can see how desperate Barca are and will try and do it last minute, if no one else goes for him, to see if they will help subsidise wages

I love Traore, and Diaz (I'm a sucker for show ponies) but if barca and Liverpool fucking us leads to this, I'll forgive.

Think his age and value probably make it a deal that the club would at least consider. If it didn't work out, very likely we'd recoup our money at the very least and likely make a profit. Wages wise, clear they'll have to be a compromise. Outside the moneybags clubs, most will be vary of sticking someone with his recent injury record on a huge wage.

Attitude wise, sounds as though Barca have probably had enough and if he were to come to us and it continues, Conte won't be putting up with it so could go pear shaped quickly. Believe he has got married recently so hopefully that'll bring a bit of maturity and stability to his life but never a guarantee.

Biggest concern for me is whether he can hold upto the physical demands of the EPL. His game relies heavily on his explosive ability to get away from opponents and seems those hammys are not having it. Whether its down to him not looking after himself properly or due to a biomechanical issue (he tends to run quite upright) who knows but when there's constant issues with hamstrings, just have to be vary as invariably those issues don't tend to just go away.

If he was offered to us by his agent I imagine he’ll have been offered to lots of other clubs too.

Surprised PSG aren’t all over him seeing Mbappe is almost certainly off in the summer

I suspect he’s being offered to every club across Europe. Someone will bite.
This is the case. I'm not concerned about his attitude. I think most of it is Barca spin tbh. You can't ignore his injury record though, it's abysmal.

Add to that Barca are beyond desperate to get him out. I'd happily see him stay there to compound their financial issues. I've never thought a club has deserved to go to the wall until these *****.

Don’t want him, because I think he’s a lost case, and there are also huge question marks over his agent, but just to add: he HAS played a bit as a RWB for Barca this season. Against poor sides where the RWB role is more or less like a winger, but still. Could see Emerson vs the good sides and Dembele against the likes of Burnley and Norwich? Don’t see him in the Moura/Son role in 523; he needs to be played out wide where there is space for him to move. But might work out as a «beat the offside trap striker» in 532?

guess United is the obvious choice, with the greenwood story breaking.
