Really impressed with Southampton's purchases this year. Definitely should be pushing top half at least.

I'm sorry, but there really was not any need for us to sign this guy. He would hate being 2nd choice, he would not fit in our system and he is nearly 28, whereas we would probably want a young striker.

This does not affect any Lamela deal IMO.

Not overly disappointed he's gone to Southampton. Maybe their spending will finally make people realise the amount we're spending has no relation to Bale.

No chance will they. Everything has to be linked with Bale going.

Maybe not from our side of things, but from Roma's it really could. That's a decent sale they've just made, so the need to make another one has shortened somewhat, perhaps?
