I watched the England and Wales games last night.

Pav came on as a sub, and looked uninterested, awful movement, lazy, walking around and generally making me wonder why the hell we bought him.

Then BOOM!!!! He launches a rocket and hit the bar. A few mins later BOOM!!! Cracking goal from distance.

It's all he has: A great shot. If we get injuries, we should tell him to just goal hang and shoot on sight. I can't see him learning how to graft. He even jumped out of contact to save himself in some instances.

Crap footballer, HELL of a shot. Yet another Spurs enigma.

Wait wait. Pav played for England against Wales??

There are football teams outside Spurs and England.

To have the weight of opinion I have, I can't watch just Spurs and my national team. How can you trust ole Gibbsy if I only watch 90 mins of football a week? I would have to be a complete troll imbacile living in mothers basement to post such opinions if I only watched Spurs and En ger land.

that shot that hit the bar would have been wanked over all over the internet if it was an english player

shame harry wont play him though as he seems to be assembling a team of his favourites from previous clubs

No mate, he is assembling a side of players that offer more to the team.

Usually you have to contribute something into a team to become a coaches favourite, so whats so bad about Harry bringing in players who he knows will benefit the team?

Pav looked alright v the welsh lot, he hasnt played for us at all and people expect him to rock up and be the bollocks.

Everyone was saying he needed a good pre-season under his belt after a decent break and he will be back scoring like we new he would.

Give Pav a chance FFS!!!

Oh and Gibbsy, there are other games other than internationals, watching international football will not give you a fair representation of individual players, i trust you as far as i can throw you!

we've given him a chance. All this he needs a good preseason and he played 18 month straight is a load of bollocks. Firstly he is a professional athelete and he is paid more in a week then most of us earn in a year, so he should be in peak condition.

Secondly, Henry and Pires played for about 48 months straight in the early 00's - Euro's, confed cup, world cup, confed cup etc.. and they still then went and had the invicible season.

Pav has been a major dissapiontment, surely you must agree?:)

No not really tbh! He has scored for us even though he has been in and out of the team and has shown in glimpses that he has alot of ability. Good in the box, scores all kinds of goals etc. Where he has been dissappointing is in his play outside of the box when holding up the ball. He gets caught on the ball alot, his touch is often loose and he lacks pace. But, when he has had a run in the team he has looked sharper and more dangerous.

No he isn't Berba, but when you compare him to the likes of Frasier Campbell you see that he has proper quality that doesn't come cheap. How much better will we get to sit on our bench?

Give him a channce is what I say.

Agreed. Every word is spot on. Saying he's rubbish is ridiculous - we haven't seen enough of him to make that judgement, can't you lot see that before jumping down his throat?

I reckon, considering how much we've had him in and out he's been pretty good, and if given a run in the team may well cement his place. That's not to say he will, but there's a decent chance.

Since we're attempting to play a pressing game, we can't accept a starter who doesn't work hard (plan B could be somewhat different). I suppose that's why Harry told Pav to "just f*cking run about a bit"
