Think Alli should really be up for both.

With that logic, or any logic! Mane should be in the running for player of the season. A long long way ahead of Sanchez in my opinion. Can't see what he's done at all but Mane has been brilliant in nearly all games he's played.

Imagine him in our starting 11 instead of Sissoko #dontdoittoyourself

When do they take the vote on this? My guess is that it was done around Jan/Feb, and that if it had been done more recently, you'd see Alli on the main list instead of Sanchez.

Logically, if Kane is nominated for the POTY shortlist ahead of Dele, doesn't that imply that he's been better and should win the YPOTY ahead of him?

Why would you give the YPOTY to Dele when tehre are two players on the list that are incuded on the main list ahead of him, implying that they have been better?

I think all those picks are credible personally and it's certainly not a slight against Alli that he's only shortlisted for YPOTY.

Can't see past a Kante and Alli win personally.
