What if you write a blog about it, or get in the local newspaper. The reputational damage that that could cause... Would that just be a warning? No we would not. We would get either one of three warnings. I'm an employer so should know.
many papers saying he returned to training with 'a hero's welcome'.

Its not like an internal thing, if it was I'm not sure I'd even deem that a warning. Its public, as public as you can make it.

I agree they respect Poch but I don't think it is as tight as it used to be.Believe what you like but I believe there will be a lot of discontent over the next few weeks which will see some poor results. The player Leicester signed was McGuire who wanted to come to us and we wanted him but they paid him 100k a week.Where do you get this information that Danny Rose is a hero at the training ground? Reliable ITK says complete opposite. Giving the fact this is also a tight knit group who seem to share Pochs ethos I can’t see them believing he’s a hero.
The players get huge bonuses when playing. Funnily enough Danny Rose has been out injured for months so probably been feeling the pinch. This coninceding with he’s best pal walker earning triple his wage and sharing the same agent.. you could also add in that he has more than likely been tapped up and you can start seeing why this has happened, nothing to do with our transfer policy.
7 months and 15 games back he was happy to sign that long term contract, no one stuck a gun to his head. Wages haven’t changed that much since then... But still I wouldn’t begrudge him a move, I can’t put someone down for being ambitious. I like to see myself as ambitious but I wouldn’t shit over my employers and co-workers in the process.
There’s ways of going about this, going to a newspaper like The Sun and claiming poverty and putting your teammates down certainly isn’t it.
And who’s this player Leicester signed ahead of us? Is it the lad from City? The one which is a glorified (no risk to City) Loan?
Another supporter not prepared to face the possibility that all is not well at home.Yeah sure. You read it in the Sun? I doubt anyone in the squad is stupid enough to show support of such behaviour openly.

The more highly paid the employee is the stricter the guide lines of Gross Misconduct. Hedge funds , brokers , bankers are sacked immediately if they put anything into the public domain without permission that could be considered harmful to the reputation of the company. This without doubt falls into that category. No chance. The most he'd be done for is bringing the club (company) name into disrepute which would result in a formal warning depending on previous. I'd hate to be your employee or member of your HR team if you'd sacked somebody for that.

Leading Questions?I don't think he did mean it in quite the way it was reported anyway.
Have you ever been interviewed by the press? Even when they quote verbatim ( which they seldom do) they are more than capable of spinning way beyond the interviewee's intent. What we don't know is how the questions were phrased.
"Are you the kind of person who would happily accept being paid less than you're worth?"
"Would you like to see Spurs buying a few more top players to help you compete st the top level?"
"Would you be happy to go a few more years without winning any medals?"
"Would you ever consider playing up north again?"
Many well-trained highly intelligent media-savvy people have fallen into traps that make them say what the journos want to be able to report. Danny Rose is not any of these things. One election campaign or referendum should make it more than obvious that you need to be very careful indeed about taking these things at face value and basing your opinions of a person or their behaviour on an interview in The Sun.
