Watching the highlights of last year's WBA home game, you can see how much we miss Walker.
Not really true as happens to Arsenal too. Sanchez & Ozil are about to go on a free. Ox left for Liverpool last summer. The main reason Rose (or anybody else for that matter) would want to leave Tottenham now is for more money. From the 'big' six clubs, we are the only club that this happens to. It's all to do with wages.
Until we address this we we are knocking our heads against the wall.
We are competing in the Champions league and at the top of the Premier league with hands tied behind our backs.
If we truly want to be a big club we cannot have players wanting to leave for more money especially to another team in the Premier League.
Walker left for more money pure and simple.
I understand we can't pay what Chelsea/Man Utd/Man City do, but we need to drastically close the gap.
We really are on the brink of something special.
However, everybody still looks down on us that we just don't pay the wages. The media talk about it every single week,
We have to find a way to pay our top players, so they wouldn't want to leave.
If we keep this team together whilst adding more quality I genuinely believe we can win the league.
There really is no excuse not to pay our top players more.
We have an extremely wealthy owner and huge money flowing in from the Premier League/Champions League/Sponsors etc.
We have the best left back in the league and have to pay him enough so that he wouldnt want to leave.
We just cannot let him leave to Man Utd like we never should have let Walker go to City.
Same goes for Alderweireld and any of our best players.
Why are players at smaller clubs getting better wages than our first team players?
This has to change now or this brilliant team could slowly fall apart.

I really believe for those two money is secondary, they want to win things and the reality is we haven't won anything since 2008, nearly 10 years ago. Yes we may win something in the future, but players coming to the end of their career don't want to take the gamble. The main reason Rose (or anybody else for that matter) would want to leave Tottenham now is for more money. No club is guaranteed medals, even Rhodes that cheat like Chelsea and City but I suppose for some players it offers a greater chance of reward plus a lot more money.
Way I look at it is we get £60 mil for him and we can probably get Shaw and Sessegnon (Sessegnon for attacker not Rose LB replacement).
Rose came from Leeds - a club that just can't sort themselves out.
He'd be absolutely unknown if he had stayed there - he owes our club everything.
Remember he wasn't even a FB - he's had top coaching (apart from AVB) and the best training facilities.
He has been given the opportunity to prove himself regularly in the best league in the world and is England's LB. He gets paid a fortune and if he were hit by a bus tomorrow, he has had a better football career than most.
He is not in a position to demand anything as the club has already more than delivered for him.
It is different for Ozil and Sanchez - they were already at successful clubs and their expectations were that arse too would be challenging for trophies with the european elite. They have been let down and you can understand them wanting to go.
Danny Rose is going to be 28 next year, if we haven't won anything, then I wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave in the summer. He has been a good servant for the club.
I believe Sessegnon will be Rose's replacement, he's actually perfect for the way we play with LWB's, pace and high energy.

Paul Gascoigne 92 appearances.Hes made 109 appearances since 2007. Im struggling to call him that whatsoever.

Dean Austin 124, Chris Perry 120, Ruel Fox made 106, Sherwood 93, S Clemence 90
I wouldnt call them good servants either.
Same was said about deleSessegnon is still years off being ready to be a starter for us. I like him a lot but he's in no way ready to be Rose's direct replacement next season

I would love to agree with this. But spending money breeds success. Rose and Walker want to leave because, as good as we are, there are greater chances of winning things elsewhere. Look at Walker. We finished above City last season, he made the move, and now he looks set to immediately win his first major trophy and league title. We’re going in the right direction, and I’m so happy with the way our club is being run, but to say money is the only reason someone would want to leave is lazy and simplistic. The main reason Rose (or anybody else for that matter) would want to leave Tottenham now is for more money.

I didn't say he'll be a starter, he's a replacement as in playing style.
