Loaning Rose makes absolutely no sense to me, especially if it is to a foreign team that can loan after tomorrow. Surely we are better off waiting to see who we can get first before even considering this.
The owner of Fulham came out today and said they will not sell Sessegnon on his personal twitter.Rose out and Sessengon in ?

(6) why do you believe everything you read on the internet?I'm so baffled by our transfer "strategy". Nothing makes sense.
(1) Why would we loan out an HG left-back and replace with a non-HG player when our problem is we don't have enough HG players?
(2) Why have we failed to sell top level Premier League players when we wanted to sell them?
(3) Why did we wait all summer to bid the money Aston Villa were asking for Grealish, only to be told when we finally did bid that he was not for sale?
(4) Why is a Championship club facing a FFP penalty calling all the shots on the sale/non-sale to a team in the Champions League?
(5) Why did we vote to bring the Transfer window deadline forward only to complain that the transfer window was too short?
I'm tired of the excuses. Spurs have done a great job overall going from utter rubbish in the early 2000s to where we are now with a high quality squad in the Champions League with a new stadium. It's a phenomenal achievement and Levy deserves huge credit.
But the club has to admit it's got its transfer strategy all wrong. Heads shouldn't role. People shouldn't be blamed. Not everything happens as you want. But until the club admits that the current way of doings things isn't working, we're always going to slightly hold ourselves back every season. We should start learning from our mistakes.
If this window goes as it's looking it will, fine. But it should be the catalyst for a change of transfer "strategy".
I dont understand us loaning Rose, at all, if it ends up happening. Hes our best Lb when fit. Who replaces him thats an upgrade?
Seems like Rose just wants a fresh start somewhere else. From his interviews he seems unhappy at the club and probably associates it with his problems.
Perhaps. Seems madness to leave this until deadline day though. Significantly weakening the squad.
If this is all true, maybe it's just about doing what's best for Danny's health. Some things are bigger than football.
I don't think anyone has an issue with him wanting to leave or the club wanting rid, want what is best for any player. But a loan of a homegrown player with 6 hours to go, leaving us with one left back, that's questionable at best.Yes, I think so. Plus for the club. I would imagine he's a difficult character for Poch to manage these days. We did well to get him through last season as a rotation option, were always likely to try & move him on this year.
I see your point, but if there's been no interest up 'til now...I don't think anyone has an issue with him wanting to leave or the club wanting rid, want what is best for any player. But a loan of a homegrown player with 6 hours to go, leaving us with one left back, that's questionable at best.
Shut the door and stick with what we have. The most shocking thing about today isn't even the lack of signings, its the willingness to sell massive players without seemingly replacing them (cue everyone telling me that rose and toby hardly played....yawn)I see your point, but if there's been no interest up 'til now...
