Sanchez is really good. Mura away is the only game I can think of in recent times when he was poor, and he was playing LCB. Even when Nuno was here he was good, his performance on the opening day vs City was outstanding. Our fans seem to think he's still shit but he's actually improved a lot since he's joined imo. Only problem is he'll probably be out the team soon as Dier is favoured at CCB and Romero at RCB. Hopefully he's happy to stick around though, adds good/important depth.

Said a while back that Sanchez wasn't good enough but admitted I would hold my hands up if he proved me wrong. I came here a few weeks back to do exactly that as I had seen a marked improvement. Tonight however is the kind of thing that I was talking about. He has been catastrophic!!!! And this is the problem with him, he will always have these type of games in him. Get Dier back and then in the Summer we will bring a LCB in to play alongside Romero & Dier.

Anyone who thinks this guy is good enough for a top ten side (let alone a team pushing for top four) give your head a wobble.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a player sky the ball into orbit with what seems like the majority of his clearances with either foot.

He has definitely improved but was awful this evening.

We need at least 2 new CBs this summer (to replace Tanganga and Rodon who should both go on season long loans).

He never really improved that much. The small mistakes were always there. Just that he was not under that much sustained pressure before. He is a terrible terrible defender

I'm guilty of thinking he turned a corner (again). I was wrong. He always has THIS game in him.

We need to be ruthless as a club and recognize that a good run of form does not make a good player and get rid of the likes of him and Winks in the summer.

Maybe, but his opposite side counterpart had a proper mare too.

His concentration is terrible, he panics under pressure and has zero composure when its most required. The last thing he needs is an even worse player in Emerson outside him but he just not good enough.

Typical Sanchez really. Can have a good run of games but you just know a stinker is on its way. Don't think Conte will be wanting to have someone like that in his defence next season so imagine he'll be a a squad player next season or sold in the summer.

My view is on Sanchez is he can go a few games looking passable but generally it’ll be because we’re playing teams who don’t put our defenders under much pressure. Then suddenly we play City or Liverpool and he looks like a cat trying to catch a mouse on an ice rink.

Hence tonight, we play a team who press really well and give our defenders no time and look what happens to him.

Look what happens when Bentancur comes on, just oozes calmness under pressure because he trusts his technique. Sanchez doesn’t because frankly it’s fucking awful.

Honestly I think he’s terrible. We desperately need another Romero style signing at centre back in the summer.

Yep, this is it in a nutshell.
