Well I guess it depends on our priorities.I can't see us signing yet though especially with a busy summer and Romero still to pay this summer. I think we leave it until next year to make Kulu permanent , maybe Jan but most likely in the summer. We should have the majority of the rebuild done in the next 2 windows so shouldn't need to spend as much then.
If we sign him in the summer it sounds like we would waive the remaining ~6m loan fee for next season AND pay 5m less for the transfer itself, so 11m euros in total. Unless our cash flow is very limited this summer and we need to squeeze out every penny to pay for new signings, it makes way more sense just to sign him on a permanent deal ASAP. When you consider most deals are paid incrementally anyway and it's not like we'd fork up the entire 30m or pay the 50m Romero in one chunk, it does indeed seem like a no brainer to pin him down in the summer.
Given the way Juve set up the deals they really were desperate to get rid of them both. The total fee for both (including add ons and loan fees) would be around 48 million quid. Absolute bargain in today's market.
