When he was a little boy,
he already scored goals full of joy
Then Tottenham came,
bought him nearly for free
The man I'm talking about is Dele Alli

Dele Alli, Dele Alli, The man I'm talking about is Dele Alli

Everything I do I want to cope with this melody :wacky:

Oh Dele Alli, the greatest of all time
La la la la la, la la la la la
la la la la la, la la la la la
Oh Dele Alli, we saved him from the Tyne

Ahoy, ahoy, do, do, do, do
Ahoy, ahoy, do, do, do, do
Ahoy, ahoy, do, do, do, do
Ahoy, ahoy, do, do, do, do

That was a very good finish for a midfielder. He went from running top speed to a longer stepped, skip run on his toes in order to stay on side. While doing that he received the ball softly and put it away without breaking stride. There are a few premiership forwards who could have messed that up more easily.

It truly is incredible to think of the young talent currently producing for our club (Kane, Eriksen, Bentaleb, Mason, Davies, Rose, Dier, Lamela) as well as the young players we have out on loan (Alli, Pritchard, Carroll, Veljkovic) and the other players in our academy. We're absolutely stocked across a lot of positions and seem really set for the future. I'm incredibly excited about Alli as he's definitely different from other players in our academy and in our squad. I'd say Paulinho is probably the closest just because of the ability to score goals (historically). But, goals from midfield is incredibly hard to find and it appears we may have located one of the best, young goal scoring midfielders at a relatively cheap (worthy of the risk) fee.

Should we really be including Rose in there?

But yes I agree about our youth. Incredible to think what these young lads could become in a few years time

We are in a good position in the future at most positions besides striker. After Kane, we don't really have anyone for like 2 or 3 years when hopefully one of Harrison, Loft and Sterling will come through.

Yeah, I think striker is the biggest question mark at this point. Luckily we have a damned good one that is also really young. I'd imagine we will continue to be purchasing players at the striker position for the foreseeable future to round it out.

@MKDonsFC: Baker's corner is cleared only as far as Kay. He lifts it back in to the box and Alli runs through before slotting past Walker. 0-1 #COLvMKD

Dele is a box to box player and pretty good tackler.
Not to mention he knows were the goal Is.
If he can transfer that to the premier league (I think he can) he's the next Bryan Robson.
Can't wait for him to pull on the shirt.

what he's doing is pretty unheard of but what's the rest of his game like? from the bits i've seen he looks to be aggressive and gets stuck in but what about on the ball? goals are great but not at the expense of being a good footbaler first and foremost, this is why i was against paulinho from the start because despite the goals, he was lacking the basics that a central midfielder needs.
