what he's doing is pretty unheard of but what's the rest of his game like? from the bits i've seen he looks to be aggressive and gets stuck in but what about on the ball? goals are great but not at the expense of being a good footbaler first and foremost, this is why i was against paulinho from the start because despite the goals, he was lacking the basics that a central midfielder needs.
If he can win the ball and then get on the end of it I don't see the problem, that's all Gerrard has done for the last ten years, he's got a few assists as well so it sounds like he knows how to play the game.
Be interesting to see what we do with him next season though.

Fantastic dribbler from what I've seen. Also has an eye for a pass.

The phrase 'complete footballer' is used too often but this guy seems exactly that.

Yes, he scored the winner against Colchester United at the end of the first half, although the only sour note was the fact he had to go off with a knock midway through the second. Hope it's nothing serious. We need him to continue with his development at MK Dons, so he will be ready for next season's baptism of fire.

He has a bit of everything. Good passer and has a wide variety of passing, strong, fast and very hard to stop or knock off the ball once he gets into his stride when dribblingand obviously he scores goal as well. He really is an excellent young player and i have very high hopes for him! I expect him to get games with us next season in some from :)

Gerrard is a great passer of the ball to be fair, maybe not as good as Hoddle but probably the best since.

Gerrard's is nothing on Scholes, and that's if we're talking just English players, as I sincerely hope you're not claiming Gerrard competes with Xavi or Pirlo. I very much see Gerrard as one who looks for the glory ball every time instead of sometimes just knowing when to keep it simple. That isn't the sign of a good passer.

Not on the bench today vs Notts County but...

Dele Alli to return from injury next week

Nigeria and Tottenham Hotspur loanee, Dele Alli, is due to return from injury next week. The 18-year old striker, who signed for Spurs for £5 million from Dons in January, has had an ankle injury, which he sustained in the 1-0 victory at Colchester United on February 17.

MK Dons manager, Karl Robinson, said last week that he hoped Alli would be fit for the home tie with Notts County at the weekend but that recovery could yet spill over into next week, according to the club’s head of coaching Richie Barker.

Barker said while there had been no complications with his recovery, another week may be needed for him to get his fitness levels back. “I think Dele will be close with him and it might be that him returning steps over into next week,” said Barker. “As far as I know from the last injury update we had, he was coming along OK and there had been no major complications.”

Haha I don't know where they got that, he was born in Milton Keynes...

Edit: apparently he is eligible for Nigeria through his parents or grandparents and there is some scattered talk trying to convince him to play for them. As of now he's only played for England, U17-U19.
