I'm one of his biggest critics and most of that is down to injury record and the frustration of cocking up a large number of counter attacks due to holding onto the ball too long/not getting his head up.

However when he does have a run of games and form he's useful; so I'm on the fence of he's by far not one of the first I'd be getting moved on (although there have been times when he would've been) that being said if a decent offer came in that means we can improve at CB, RB and CM options then I'd listen to it (on the proviso that the other deadwood is moved on too)

Then again if he's okay with his squad role and doesn't want the moon on a stick to re-sign I'm not mad at it except he would then be an ageing player with an iffy injury record and he doesn't tend to heal quickly as it is so I don't think it'll speed up with age so we could end up with a sick note that's impossible to move on. Also I've no idea if any of his injuries would prevent him passing a medical anyway.

Final thing with these splinters in my arse; I've always felt that Argentine footballers players coming from abroad to the PL always work out best if you have at least two at a club, so if keeping Lamela in the squad keeps Lo Celso happy then he's worth it (unless we sign another or we keep Gazza or Foyth)
All very much my own opinions you're allowed to have your own.

I think there's a good chance we'll go for another in the summer, in Nicolás González.
Him, Maignan and Botman are players I've heard alot about us tracking through the season.

I just unignored you to read this message, I was wondering why I put you on ignore in the first place.

After reading this now I know why, you're now back on ignore. :)

Yeah, well, it's kinda sad to see your mind is weak enough that you feel the need to shield yourself from opposing views.

Luckily, I don't write in these forums just for you, but for anyone who might read them. So I will keep replying to your posts whenever I feel the need to. So carry on please! (y)

Don't worry, @Shadydan has half of the forum on ignore. Don't take it personally, it's his problem not yours.

This is a very valid point, not be underestimated. Rick Villa being bought to accompany Osvaldo Ardiles comes to mind

United, mate. (y)

Pardon the pedantry  but we've not played Wednesday in 20 years. And the way they're going, it might be 20 more.

I'm just through complaining on the front page that Erik's rabona isn't my favourite .If he'd trusted his right foot it would have been an unremarkable goal....and went on to say that NDombele's lob is the one to leave me awestruck.

You’d think with the money he is earning he could afford a pair of jeans without all those tears in them
Those aren't tears - they're just parts of the fabric that've been rubbed away because he keeps crossing his legs to avoid using his right foot.

I always thought we bought Villa as a priority and added Ossie. Also thought we bought Kyle Naughton as top priority and added Kyle Walker to the deal.

Our last three attacks of the match, including one right before the equaliser where he dallied before playing completely the wrong pass (he’s always had a weird issue with Son since then penalty dispute v Manchester City) were all totally fucked up by this guy. He actually improved our overall play but for all he brings, an attacker who doesn’t ever make the right choice when he has any thinking time is no use to anybody.

He could score a rabona from his own area to win is the league cup final, I hope he goes this summer so badly. He’s marginally more useful than Sissoko and Winks but he really is just taking up a squad space that would be better served on a kid
