I have some Jim White ITK!

This is the phone he uses to speak to all his 'contacts'

I love how aghast he is at everything - not long after he joined TS, when I was still giving him the benefit of the doubt and persevering, he did a piece about a fan making a racist comment and he acted like he had only just heard of racism and was absolutely shocked that such a thing existed!

Can't cope with him anymore though, most likely flip over to Radio 5 in ten minutes.

I was saying this to some pals last night.

It would explain a lot, the hauling off at HT and now being offered out.

The optimist in me thought it my be Jose trying to rile him up, get the old angry Dele back. He really hasn’t been the same since he got a bit calmer
I was literally saying exactly this last night that he hasn't been the same since he lost that fire

I'm assuming I'm wrong here but it's such a unique name that it would be a coincidence, but is Tommy Forecast to which you refer a very tall, ex-professional goalkeeper?

Boring story if so, but he joined my mates' 7-a-side knockabout just before lockdown (neighbour of one of the boys) and I scored a header against him. This would end most careers (if you knew how shit I was).
Sounds plausible :cautious: :D

It feels like yesterday he tore Man City apart in his final season with us. Can’t quite believe he will be pulling on the spurs shirt again. But coming back as a man who won champions League finals including that amazing overhead kick winner, etc. what a statement this will be...

Jim White saying that he spoke to a close associate of Bale's a moment ago.

Jim White says he asked the associate 'will this happen?' The associates response was 'of course it will'

If there's ever word from a source 'close to Bale' and it appears to have the social grace of a punch in the stomach, it's probably Barnett.

e.g.
"We asked a source close to Bale is he's close to a move yet, who replied 'Are you ****** thick or something?'"

I actually had to try and see if you can now get the shirt and it worked, ffs im 45 years old

I'm 53 and I will be ordering one. We have become a short-term project since sacking the GOAT manager/leader, so I absolutely believe the only way for this "short-term project" to work is to bring in someone exactly like Bale. It is the perfect move at the perfect time. We are all in dire need of joy, and the feel good factor from bringing Bale back would be immense; I might even forget we're in a pandemic for am moment!

Well. All those people who were against this, which was a completely understandable POV, now it's possibly happening has your opinion changed? I, for one, am extremely excited
I'm excited but I think we badly need another midfielder.

@Rob I'm not asking any details about who it was etc - just purely out of fascination. How long ago did you get a serious heads up from an ITK ,in your little private boys club conversations that us plebs aren't privy too, that Bale was a serious option this window?

Without going back and checking exact dates, a couple of weeks.

Calderon suggesting that it would be a perm, but caveating that he doesn't actually know much. Interesting 'experienced' opinion though.

'NOW IS TIME FOR BALE TO LEAVE REAL'

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon told Sky Sports:

"If it's Tottenham that he wants to go to, I'm sure he'll go there. I don't have a personal knowledge of his intentions or the terms of the deal, but apparently it looks to be Tottenham.

"Sometimes when the salary of the player wanting to leave Real Madrid is very high, we've shared part of that salary but I don't know if that's going to be the case now.

"He came here being the MVP from Tottenham, but now the point is to see if he can recover his time as a good player as it's clear that Zinedine Zidane doesn't count on him. It's the time to end this situation and for me it's the best moment to do that.

"I suppose it will be [a permanent deal]. He has two years left on his contract so if he leaves this season, I feel he would stay at the new club for the rest of his career. He has three or four more years at a good level, so if he goes to Tottenham maybe he will finish his career there.

"I don't know if Dele Alli will be part of the deal, but I don't think Tottenham would want to let him go as he's a very good player. Any big team would want to have him in their side."

Tall, yes!

Probably the one you scored against. He was caught up the in the Bale-transfer, saving us 20 mill.
