The Gedson loan cancellation really has no impact on our ability to loan anymore players. Seems more like a clean break so he can get his career back on track.

Never understood the signing in the first place although I suppose we were short of bodies in CM with Sissoko injured and Tanguy on the naughty step.

At least Mourinho wastes no time of him. Loaned him, played him, no good, return him so he can have other times at other clubs. Thought that was decisive of Mourinho.

I think the max is 2 loans from one club. I know International loans work different from domestic loans as Fulham have loaned in

Areola from PSG
Lookman from Leipzig
Ola Aina from Torino

Domestically
Tosin from Mancity - Was a permanent transfer.
Lemina from Southampton
Loftus Cheek from Chelsea

So there's a lot of room for loans, we just don't explore it as much.

Scratch the Tosin deal off as a loan, it was a permanent transfer.

Or a decent RWB (based on his performances there in pre-season). Given the right development opportunities, I think he could be good enough for a mid-table PL team. His decision-making and reading of the game aren't there yet though.

Wouldn't put it past Spurs to do something like this. I still remember the whole GKN debacle. Also, knowing Levy the conversation went something like " Hey Gedson, how are things? Good? Good!.........so there's a young defender at Benfica called Nuno.....you ahhh...you mind giving him my number? "
