Ok he only played 30mins in his first game for us in a new county and doesn't speak the language yet but:

I was not impressed at all. Hope he improves!

Energy made a much better start than him imo. Shame he was never fit!

Ha ha omg mate.

I was just happy to see him play. Hyper critical fans wanting a rampaging display... Give new players time. Quite simple.

Thought he had a few nice touches. First one when he was on the touchline with two defenders corralling him but managed to play a ball to an open teammate (believe it was Winks).

Also was pretty positive in getting forward and didn't play with his head down; actively looked to play the ball to others.

The biggest thing is this was his first 30 minutes of action for us, and that's all it was. There wasn't anything there to get severely down about him over.

Only a complete retard would be even trying to form an opinion of how good player looked or will be for us after only 30 minutes of game time on their debut.
Ha, seems to be going on with Edwards!

He did ok I thought, two footed, sharp and looks better technically than Energy on first viewing ie better touch and control....long way to go for him either way

He did some nice things like that pass to janssen or whoever it was from the other side of the pitch. His first touch wasn't great but he was probably nervous. Looked okay though

You've pretty much summed up why I barely come on this forum any more. Ridiculous.

I don't think there were any negatives to what we saw at all. I also thought from what we saw he definitely looks technically better than N'Jie which is good as N'Jie looked way too erratic at times. Most importantly he looked fairly calm. We rarely got see his speed but there was one time where he was running to the goalkeeper in almost a lost cause but he looked rapid. Can't wait to see him feature more.

If Son starts as well as Sissoko I'd definitely love to see him at least on the bench for a wide option.

I for one am glad to see him finally get some minutes in. Some decent touches, but nothing earth shattering yet.

Hopefully he gets his chance.

What were you expecting?
A hattrick, a bicycle kick, a rabona, a celebration incorporating North London folk dance and French lyrics and a happy ending.

Is that too much to ask in 30min on his debut? (From the French, "débuter". See what I did there?)

Thought he looked decent. His first touches on the sideline, the pass to Janssen from the right was the best pass of the night, kept it simple at times. Was actually really pleased he didn't try to be a flash git.

People may think i'm being a little too positive, but being at the game yesterday i watched him closely and he could be a steal for us. Bear with me here....

People seem to be judging him based on his ball work last night, but that wasn't what jumped out to me. He has something different to our AM, his movement off the ball was very much like Mane, he was drifting along the line (rather than hugging the touch line) and made two or three runs in behind without being noticed, this is really what stood out for me, because other than Alli we don't have anyone else like this with movement off the ball. He could be a valuable weapon for us.

He also works hard, we will have no problems with his pressing and desire to get the ball back.
