My greatest spot in last 2 years was harry Maguire :ROFLMAO:
A bit of a flop that’s surprised me has been fosu mensa really thought he looked superb in early games for united.

Fosu Mensa is not even 20 yet and you’re calling him a flop? He’s been loaned to a squad in a complete mess who sacked their manager after 4 games. You should take up stand up comedy

Just watched his YouTube again out of curiosity. The guy obviously has some talent. It really is quite baffling in 18 months he’s literally shown nothing. You could understand inconsistency, but too literally show nothing in 18 months is very odd. I think Poch under used him last year and he just lost all his confidence. I really hope we don’t do something similar with foyth.

I think it’s a bit harsh to say he’s shown nothing. I think he’s had a few off the bench appearances where he’s looked like a threat. What he’s showing, or not showing, in training is another matter, though.

I want all our players to succeed, but I think you're being a bit generous there

Has he consistently done any of the following; (i) beat a defender (ii) get a good cross in (iii) play a through-ball (iv) get an assist (v) score a goal

On paper he should be a perfect option from the bench; quick and tricky, against tiring defenders for the last 15 minutes

Unfortunately it hasn't worked that way for him (yet)

Tbf he would’ve scored a goal if it weren’t for a hospital ball from Sissoko stopping it.

I’m not saying he’s done any of those things consistently but he has done it on occasion. That’s why I think it’s harsh to say he’s shown nothing. He hasn’t shown much either hence why I’m taking the middle ground on this one.

Ok maybe flop was harsh. But after seeing him debut 2 years ago I think , I expected him to be in and around the 1st team. Looked a beast strong and fast. Not sure what’s happened at palace, injury? But he hasn’t featured that much.

Real shame he's not worked out as well as we'd hoped so far given how hard we worked to get him in.

Hang on, hasn't Poch been saying some good things about him in his latest interview, seems like he's getting over the mental hurdle of actually knowing what it takes to compete in this team and the league judging by his latest comments.

I still think he'll come good, poch said today in the last few weeks he's realised what it takes to become a prem footballer and maybe that could be the breakthrough because he's clearly talented

He just now needs to take his chance tomorrow

A wild card to the rest of the season. Never know eh... Hope Poch's latest positivity is proven in the coming months.

How great it would be to get GKN stepping up, Lamela back from injury, Wanyama back fit and players like Sterling pushing for first team squad action. The team and the fans need a boost

If GKN starts tomorrow then its make of break for him.
Its about time he stepped up to the plate because he has been awful. He is clearly talented with the ball at his feet and could be a great weapon coming off the bench.

Lets hope he takes this chance.

We really need one of these fringe players to step up, take some of the pressure off/light a fire up someone's arse. I'm not holding my breath and we shouldn't expect GKN to suddenly become a saviour, but it would be nice to think that he can contribute and allow us to operate in a different manner when up against these bus parkers. Because currently I see no alternative in the squad.

It does feel like we could do with someone making an impact similar to what mason did in poch’s first season to reinvigorate us a bit

My take is that Poch is putting him in the shop window for January and talking him up for a sale.
